Why am I here again?...

Oh, right, I got bored and wanted to make things right. If you know what that means. Yeah, I came to this world so that I can torture a bitch and trash. And also hurt three useless heroes pride. Naofumi is just Naofumi so he and his party are cool.

So, here I am, walking in a middle of nowhere, in my own clothes that maybe blend in to this world.

Until I heard something or someone.

"Ah!"

'Wait! I know that voice!' I thought. I went to that direction and guess who I saw. It's none other than Iwatani Naofumi, also known as the Shield Hero.

I got a good look of his outfit and it looks like it's before he got framed by Princess Bitch. And it looks like the Bitch is not here with him and he has trouble fighting these balloon monsters. 'Eh, might as well as help him.' I thought with a shrug.

I slowly channel my powers to my right arm to my index and middle finger and shot black lightning towards the balloon monsters and killed them. Naofumi looked confused until I decided to show myself.

"You look like you have trouble fighting these monsters so I decided to help." I said. Naofumi turned and blushed at my appearance. "T-that was you?" He asked which I nodded. "W-Well, thank you very much. I was having trouble fighting these things with this shield of mine." He said to me.

I looked at the Shield and back at him. "So, you're the Shield Hero!" I said in fake amazement, and he nodded. "That's amazing! What's your name, Hero?" I asked even though I already know his name. "My name's Iwatani Naofumi. What about yours?" He said.

"Me? Oh, no one important. 'Not yet, at least.' I'm just a foreign traveler and I was on my way to Melromarc." I said with a smile which cause Naofumi to blush even more. "I-I can lead you there if you want." He offered. "I appreciate the offer, but you need to train yourself and it looks like your "companion" is coming here." I said. I was going to leave, not after I left him a warning.

"Be careful about the people you trust. Once you fall for their act, they will stab you in the back."

Naofumi looked at me confused and I tapped the side of my head with my index finger to tell him to remember it. He seemed to get my message and nodded. I nodded back and left to go towards the gates of Melromarc. 'Tomorrow morning is when it has begun.' I thought with a smirk.

(3rd pov)

Naofumi watched (Y/n) go through the gates while Myne ran towards him and looked at him confused. "Is there something wrong, Shield Hero?" She asked. Naofumi shook his head. "No, just met a mysterious stranger, nothing much." He said with a smile.

"Okay, then. Let's head back, it looks like you need some rest." Myne said with a "smile". Naofumi nodded and both of them went back to Melromarc. Naofumi can't wait to meet (Y/n) again in Melromarc. Maybe tomorrow, things will get better....
