SOMEWHERE IN ANOTHER GALAXY, TONY STARK IS RECORDING WHAT HE BELIEVES TO BE HIS LAST MESSAGE TO PEPPER POTTS. He tells her about Nebula, the Blue Meanie who's only a tiny bit sadistic. He tells her about Drax. Mr. Clean who doesn't understand sarcasm. He tells her about Mantis. Sweet innocent Praying Mantis who's been trying to contact her friends through astral protection, or as he calls it "space soul searching". He tells Pepper that when he dreams, he dreams about her. He hopes his final thoughts will be about her.
It wasn't long after that Tony, Nebula, Drax and Mantis were saved by Maalot, Sybbyl and Groot. Mantis managed to contact Groot and told him their coordinates. He told Sybbyl who contacted Maalot and off they went.
In another future, Tony and Nebula were the only ones who returned from Titan. They were saved by Carol Danvers and returned to Earth, reuniting with Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, Bruce Banner, Thor Odinson, James Rhodes, Pepper Potts, and Rocket.
But this wasn't the case. Tony, Nebula, Drax, and Mantis survived Titan and were saved by Maalot, Sybbyl and Groot. Once on Earth they were reunited with Sam Wilson, Natasha Romanoff, Bruce Banner, Pepper Potts, Wanda Maximoff, Groot and a newly fixed Vision.
A weak Tony sat in a wheelchair and stared at the pictures of his dead friends. Steve, Rhodey, Nick Fury, T'Challa, Dr. Strange, Rocket, Bucky, Shuri, Thor, Peter Parker. In both futures, Tony snaps and passes out. Here Tony snaps at Sam, being the closest person he has to Steve, because he's still very mad at him for what happened in Siberia.
"Bruce gave him a sedative. He's going to be out for the rest of the day" Vision informed the group standing outside the room.
"Great. I can get him an elixir when I come back" Maalot shrugged and began to walk out of the room.
"Where are you going?" Sam asked.
"To kill Thanos" was all she said. Sam and Natasha shared a look before they followed her.
"Hey!" Sam called. Maalot stopped and turned to face him. "We realize that up there is more your territory, but this is our fight too"
"Do you even know where he is?" Wanda questioned.
"I might have an idea" Maalot answered. She thought back to the space scans she's been doing back in her planet.
"Don't bother. I can tell you where Thanos is" Nebula spoke up. The group gathered in a room, ready to hear what Nebula has to say. "Thanos spent a long time trying to perfect me. And when he worked he talked about his great plan. Even disassembled I wanted to please him. I'd ask, where would we go once his plan is complete. And his answer was always the same, to The Garden"
"So where is he?" Sybbyl asked.
Maalot sighed and fetched something from the pocket of her pants. She set it on the table and tapped something on her metal wristband on her left wrist. "I might know" she pulled up a hologram of Earth. "When Thanos snapped his fingers, Earth became ground zero for a power surge of ridiculous cosmic proportions. No one has ever seen anything like it" a wave of energy erupted from the earth hovering over the table. "Until two days ago" she tapped her wristband and the hologram moved from earth to another planet. The same wave of energy was shown on the planet. "On this planet"
