CALLIOPE POV

-THE PALE, gray moonlight shined through a small crack in the tree branches, above a table placed under a window.

The stars complementing it with a slight luminance, Kiara stood under the light holding herself up by her palms firmly placed on the table.

She looked away from the window and turned to me. "That was a pretty long stream!" she announced beaming before collapsing onto the couch. "Yeah, it was."

I turned off everything such as my computer, I walked to the window where Kiara was lying, and I took  a seat next to her.

I finished up my wine glass, the reflections of stars shine in the liquid. I had my last gulp and placed my cup on the table.

"Hey, Calli, can I have some?" Kiara interrupted with a smile; I looked at her picking up the bottle. "Since when have you liked wine?" I asked.

"Since now!" She responded , I sigh grabbing an extra cup, and poured some wine in it. The spilling noise was mellifluous, filling up the room. It followed with small sizzles of bubbles.

The wine swirled in the cup filling it up quickly. "So, you just carry those cups around?" She held back a laugh, "Yeah pretty much." I handed her the cup. "Cheers?" I held the cup in front of hers. "Cheers!" She clashes the cups together and chugged hers down.

I rolled my eyes sipping the cup little by little. "I want another cup!" I turned to her who was holding up the glass.

"I mean, whatever you want." I filled up the cup again hesitantly as she grinned, I could tell she was getting tipsy.

After a while, we were both sitting on the couch after having a bunch of cups of wine. "Can I have another?-" She asked quickly, "Nope." Before we could both have another cup of wine suggested by Kiara I had to interrupt her.

She pulled my coat by the horns making me cuddle up close to her. "What are you doing?-" I didn't question it much, but I still was wondering though.

She leaned her head on my shoulder. I tried brushing her off but she just wrapped her arms around me forcing herself closer to me. "Wait, no." She mumbled under her breath softly.

I heard her begin to snore but I could tell she was faking, I held in a smile and gave her a forehead kiss. She quickly looked up and tackled me until we were laying on the couch.

She chuckled and leaned up to my lips giving me a small kiss. It wasn't for long and full of love, it was just playful. She backed up afterward.

I press my lips into a fine line keeping myself from cracking a smile. "Oh come on, you almost smiled!" Kiara teases pointing at me, "Shut up!" I stood up and hugged her.

I let go and she immediately lays down placing her head on my lap. "I'm tired though..." She put her arms under her head and closed her eyes.

I ran my fingers through her hair lightly as she fell asleep. I began to feel a bit tired after looking at how peaceful she looked, I yawned and leaned back on the couch and closed my eyes.

The moon outside shines a little bit of light on us as we fell asleep together.
