Chapter 3 (shopping)

I was walking to school with Eros, we walked in a comfortable silence. Eros was on his phone while sipping his iced coffee and I was looking at the ground. Not for any reason Im just so used to look like at the floor that I can't help it anymore. I hear sobbing across the street, I look up and over and saw a woman crying while police were there. What happened? "Poor thing..." Eros said. "What happened?" I asked as I looked at Eros. "Her son disappeared a few days ago." He said. "I couldn't imagine...." I said as I went back to looking at the ground.

"What do you think happened to her kid?" I asked. "I don't know... But hey cheer up hun! I'm sure he's in a better place!" Eros said, trying to Lighten the mood but failed miserably. "Maybe." I muttered. "Eros, can I tell you something?" I asked. "Sure. What's up?" He asked. "Yesterday, I saw something in my house. It looked like a demon... Or a spirit? I don't know what but it was a black figure with beady white eyes. It was tall and bent over. I tried to to run away or scream but I couldn't move. I was paralyzed by fear. Then it disappeared into the walls. I'm so scared to go to sleep..."I said to him. "Woah, spooky. I hope it's nothing dangerous. I don't want to loose my bestie." Eros said. "Aww thanks." I said with a slight smile. We arrived at school and I went to my locker to get a book for class. Eros was next to me on his phone. I was unlocking my locker then some guy came up to me. I look over and see him leaning on the locker. He smirked and said "your kinda hot, you want to hangout some time?" He said. "... What?" I said. "You want to hangout? Like get some coffee or go to the park?" He said. He was ok looking. I don't really date. I've never dated before and I don't think I will. "...... Like friends?" I said. Maybe he wants to be- "Sure, we can start as friends~" He purred. Oh... Ew. "Oh, um no thanks but no. I'm asexual." I said. "What does that mean?" He asked. "I don't like anyone. Like, I don't want to date anyone." I said. "Oh. So your gay?" He said. I sigh. "I guess." I said as I get the book out if my locker. "F*ggot." He said as he walked away. Eros got mad, really really mad. Eros grabbed the dude by his shoulder and said "Apologize" Eros was super tall, he was pretty intimidating when I first met him. And him being pissed make him ten times more intimidating. The guy was shaking. "I... I'm sorry... " The guy trembled. Eros pushed him and the guy ran away. "You didn't have to do that." Yes I do. Now let's get the class." He said with a smile. I smiled back and left. We went to home room and sat down.

School went on for a long 8 hours. At the end of the day, me and Eros go shopping. Eros wanted to get me into makeup but I don't expect myself to be as good as him. We go the Sephora in the mall and we go the where the foundation was. "Ok so let's get your skin color." Eros said. I had pretty light skin so we got a light foundation. "How about this?" I said as I grabbed a bb cream that my shade. "Perfect! Now let me get mine because I am running low sweetie" Eros said with a chuckle. "Hmm..." He said as we looked through the foundation wall. "What's up?" I asked. "I can't find my shade" He said as he put his fingers on his chin. "Are you having trouble sir?" A lady who worked at the makeup store asked. "Uh yeah I can't find my shade do you have any left?" Eros asked. "Oh no we just ran out but I'll get your shade from the back. What's your shade hun?" The lady asked. "Bronze" He said. "Ok I'll be right back with the foundation!" She said with a smile. "Thank you so much." Eros said. The lady left and went to get the foundation. "What now?" I ask. "We need powder, contour, highlight, bronzer, blush, makeup brushes, a makeup sponge, an eye palet-" I stop Eros of his rant. "Eros that going to be a lot of money and I don't think I could pull off makeup like you can." I said. "True but they will be gagging when they see you!!" He said. "I know but I'm not the type to do makeup." I told him. "Your right. How about I do your makeup, just for fun?" He said. "Sure." I smiled. "Yes! Your going to be soo pretty!" He said. I smile as the lady came back with the foundation. "Do you need anything else?" The lady said. "No. Thank you." Eros said. "Alrighty, I'll be over there if you need me." The lady said as she pointed to the counter. "Ok, thank you!" Eros said as the lady went to the counter. Eros got the stuff he needed for himself and we checked out. "Let's go clothes shopping now!" He said with joy. He loved shopping so much that every month we would go shopping at the mall. We went to hot topic and walked around. It was a little crowded but it was a cool store. "Ooh! Have you seen My hero academia? It's so good!" Eros said as he picked up a hoodie with an anime boy with white and red hair and a scar. "No. Looks cool though." I said. "It's super good! It's about this boy named Izuku and he's quirk less, quirks are like super powers, anyway he's quirk less right? And like everyone bullies him about being quirk less and the there's this big buff guy named All might and like his the the number one hero. There's heroes who get paid to protect the city and like they get agency's and sidekicks but all might doesn't have a side kick because he's super strong! He has this quirk that makes him super strong but it's a mash up of quirks! And all might has a secret that he can only stay in his buff form for three hours or what ever. Izuku and All might meet and Izuku asks all might if he can be a hero to but All might says 'no you can't be a hero'. And then izuku fought a villain and All might want like 'I can give you my quirk' and Izuku's like. 'Yes I would like your quirk'. And then Izuku goes to-" Eros rambles and rambles on, I space out. It sounds cool, maybe I'll check it out. Eros finishes his speech. "And like it's super cool your should check it out!" He said. "I don't think I need to because you just told me all of the spoilers." I joke. "I did not!" He said. I giggle and ask. "Who's your favorite character?" I asked, he thought about it and said "Mine is Bakugou, he's so hot." Eros said. "Simp." I smiled. "Rude! But true." Eros said. "I kinda like that character. " I said as I pointed at a figurine with two spikes of hair like bunny ears and super buff. "All might?" Eros asked. "I guess. He looks cool." I said. "I could see it happening." Eros said. "Huh?" I said. "You two would be cute together that's all I'm saying." Eros said as he looked at the t-shirts. "Ew." I said. "I mean he looks cool but I wouldn't see each other together. And you know that I'm Ace you meanie." I said as poked him in the side. He chuckled. "And he's probably older then me like 20 or 28." I said as I looked at the all might figurine. "And why are you saying like he's real!" I said. "Why not!?" He laughed. "And I'm not so sure he's that young. Maybe like 40s or 30s." Eros said as he picked up an T-shirt with the saying "plus ultra" On it. "No... He's like 22." I said. "Look it up. He's like mid age." He said. I looked up his age and I raised my eyebrows in shock. "He's 50." I said in awe. "Really?! He's that old?!" He said as he looked on the screen. "Wow. He looks good for his age." Eros said. "I know right." I said as I put away my phone. Eros got a T-shirt and a figure of someone. I don't know who but it's someone. We walked around the mall and bought some stuff. I bought some socks and that's it. Eros bought a lot of stuff. How can he afford all of this?!

We leave the mall and we walk home. The mall was close by to our houses so we didn't have to walk far. "So what do you want for your birthday?" Eros asked. "Nothing. Maybe clothes?" I asked. "You never want anything special for your birthday. Why's that?" He asked. "I don't know." I said. "Athena, I want to get you something special because your very special to me so tell me what you want or I'm gonna go crazy!" He said. I laughed. "I don't want anything, you being there is enough. Maybe we'll have a sleep over?" I asked. "Yeah!" He said. We arrived to his house and I waved good bye. "See you tomorrow!" Eros said. "Bye!" I said with a smile. Eros went inside his home and I walked away. My house was nearby so I didn't have to walk far.

I walk down the street, the sun was about to go down and the sun set was beautiful. It was a mixture of cool colors and warm colors that was painted across the sky. I sighed as I look at the sky even more. The sunlight was just peaking over the horizon perfectly, I could feel the warmth of the golden sunlight on my face. I smiled slightly as I walked to my home. I was near my home, only a few House's down. I was tired and my feet hurt from walking so I was a little excited to get home. I grab the door handle and enter my home. I walk to my room and lay down, my feet aching from walking so much. I close my eyes and feel myself drifting to sleep.
