for you - one shots

brush - hyunmin

it was a calm night in the small room that a cute couple had shared. and while one laid in the bed watching cartoons like a puppy in awe, the other was taking a quick shower.

the room smelt of the soaps and steams that came from the bathroom door and eventually the sound of running water came to an end. you could hear cabinets open and close and cloth moving around but not much . the tv volume and moving characters on screen made the younger so distracted.

at the shut off of the shower however, his head jerked over toward the door. "don't forget, jinnie! you promised ." he called before quickly turning back to the screen, a puppy dog plush in his grip as his eyes sparkled like stars at the screen reflection.

eventually the door opened to see a taller individual that appeared very different exit the bathroom. he had on lose pajamas pants and a more fitted t-shirt. compared to the younger boy , who was wearing a graphic t-shirt and large shorts, he was what you could call different.

the older handed his partner a hair brush and got a smile in response. seungmin had been wanting to comb and play with hyunjin's hair ever since he grew it out. and it was so long he would typically wear ponytails and bandanas just to keep his vision clear.

"i didn't forget. but be careful. i wasn't able to wash all the knots out." hyunjin explained. he sat in front of seungmin on the bed and gave his head one more shake to loosen the hair up.

seungmin started at the bottom, the basic little tangles coming out of the fresh smelling hair before him. it smelt like coconut . very different from seungmin's watermelon shampoo.

he worked his way up hyunjins hair til it was a damp and combed out mess. "can i style it too?" seungmin asked eagerly, placing his chin on hyunjin's shoulder . "if you must." hyunjin giggled.

seungmin eagerly shuffled to the nightstand to get a small box of hair ties and bows. he picked out a blue hair tie to match hyunjins pants and a little white bow.

seungmins fingers picked up a tiny clump of hair right on top of hyunjins head. hyunjin was just smiling and looking at his phone, only paying attention to the tingles in his scalp when seungmin brushed his hair.

seungmin finished up by tying a little ponytail right on top like a sprout and placing a little white bow on the front. "all done, jinnie! do ya like it?" he eagerly asked.

his chin was on hyunjin'a shoulder once again,  giving him a little back hug to see his reaction as he looked at the hair do in his phone camera.

"i love it, minnie. want me to do yours next?" he asked. seungmin happily nodded and they switched sitting spots on the bed.

seungmin was more sensitive to knots in his head but was able to work through it.

"so what movie are you watching?" hyunjin asked, parting seungmins hair so it was a little bit fluffy on one side.

"not sure. but it's interesting. and cute, too. i really like animated movies." seungmin explained, still deeply into whatever was on the tv.

when hyunjin finished he leaned against the wall and pillows behind him. seungmin found his was into hyunjins lap, leaning his back against hyunjins stomach as his boyfriends arms wrapped around to hold him. hyunjin placed his chin upon seungmin's scalp, as well.

the movie went on for a bit and the two had shared many lovely cuddles and soft moments.

hyunjin wouldn't take his hair out even when they went to bed. seungmin liked to twist it around his finger here and there. and hyunjin liked to pat seungmin's poofy hair on top of his head.

in the end they had fallen asleep like that, seungmin had curled up closer to hyunjin though, clinging to him like a sleepy sloth and keeping his head settled in the crook of his neck. hyunjin had seungmin in his arms like a baby, the two not letting go throughout the night.
