This anime is pretty tough to explain but long story short,

In this anime, there are 2 popular games that everyone plays called "Rib" and "Rhyme". Rib is basically and old school game where different gangs start turf wars against other gangs and Rhyme is a highly advanced game where the participants battle 1 VS 1 in Virtual Reality.

An "All-Mate"(AI pet) should be owned by the participant in order to play and an "Usui" will be the one that hosts the match.

Aoba Seragaki is forced to play and could never go back to having a normal life again...

(This anime was originally a BL game where Aoba has different romantic routes which result in a Good or Bad ending so~ feel free to ship lmao)
