"Shinobu-san! Do you want to train today?" I exclaimed, smiling as I tapped her shoulder.

She looked back at me, smiling with a little hint of sadness in her eyes. I let out a small frown as I sighed to myself, as the keen sense of aura around her already told me what she was about to say.

"I'm very Sorry Shouta, but I have some duties to do with Mitsuri. Maybe next time?" She replied, slightly bowing as I bowed back.

"Alright then!... See you later then Shinobu" I said, as I watch her take her leave, gripping my nichirin sword as I start heading back to my estate.

As I was walking back to my estate, a hand gently tapped my shoulder.

"Oh! Tanjirou, can I help you with something?" I said, looking back at him.

"It's nothing really, Shouta-san. But when I passed by you, I smelled something different" He replied, as I furrowed my brows.

Smelled? Different? Wait what.

Oh I remember! Giyuu said something about the sense of smell that Tanjirou had, but what kind of sense of smell?

"Um, what do you mean by that?" I asked, still curious about him.

"Shouta-san, I can smell emotions, and even little detail things such as the smell of water or even small pebbles. And the keen smell around you smells like leaves that had fallen on water" He replied calmly, still looking into my eyes as he smiled gently.

"Oh, did you smell my sorrow I presumed?" I said, smiling a little as he just nodded in response.

"So, what's bothering you if I may ask?" Tanjirou said, as his eyes glint in kindness and light.

"No, its alright. I just wanted to train with Shinobu, but she has something else to do. And when I thought about it, everyone was also busy. So I was kinda disappointed with myself to be honest, such a silly thing shouldn't be in sorrow you know?" I replied, still smiling as I just stood there.

"Well, Shinazugawa and I just finished training maybe you two can hang out for while?" Tanjirou said, removing his hand from my shoulder.

"Alright, I'll do what I can. Thank you, Tanjirou" I smiled at him, as he only smiled back.

As his feet started to walk, he waved his hand indicating a small 'see you later' as I just smiled at him.

After watching Tanjirou leave, I walked to the Shinazugawa estate.

As I stood there, gently knocking 3 times before hearing loud steps that was coming behind the door.

"OI WHO'S BARGING INTO MY ESTATE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION-" The door was immediately swung open, an irritated Sanemi stood there furrowing his brows as he grinned upon seeing you.

"Well well well, isn't it the ice pillar herself. What do you want? I'm busy right now" He spat, crossing his arms as he looked at you.

Suddenly, an irk appear on your forehead.

"Excuse me? But Tanjirou just said that you two just finished your training. And don't you want to have some time together? It's been long since we've done this you know?" I replied back, also crossing my arms and slightly tapping my foot to the ground.

Sanemi sighed, massaging his temples as he groaned.

"Sorry but no, I'm tired and exhausted just by teaching that little damn Kamado kid. I don't have time for you, we can do that tomorrow" He said, immediately slamming and closing the door infront of me, in my face.
