CHAPTER 22

"Hina, you're not going?"

Elena asked me while I sat on my bed, hugging my knees, I shook my head. Its been a week ever since I left Tsukio after knowing that he just used me for revenge against my father. And I'm still heartbroken from that

"Alright, but are you sure you're okay?" Elena said as smiled

I just nodded at her. Elena sighed and sat beside me on my bed, combing my hair.

"Hina, I'm really sorry I didn't tell you" Elena sighed "I just got scared and I had thoughts that... You know you wouldn't believe me and... Stuff like that"

I turned to her and held her hand.

"You're always so scared of everything Elena" I said to her "If you continue to be like that you'll lose so much"

Elena looked down and nodded. Ever since childhood, Elena would always get scared of telling people what she thinks of others, most especially to me or our group. She thinks she might spark up fights that will separates us, which is sad for her that's why she hides her thoughts and feelings.

"You should go now" I cupped her cheek "Chunhwa's waiting"

She smiled and nodded. Chunhwa invited us to a bar again but I decided to stay, I know getting drunk is one way to forget about your heartbreak but after that scandal, which is still going on, so I'm not gonna make the situation as worse as it is.

Its been an hour since Elena left. I was just watching netflix and suddenly hear a knock on the door, I wasn't really expecting anyone today so it's weird and scary.

I looked first at the peep hole to see who it is. I sighed and opened the door

"Akane" I said

Akane smiled and brushed her hair back. She was wearing her work attire, I'm guessing she just came back from work.

"Hina" She said "May I come in?"

I shrugged and let her in, I asked what does she want but she shook her head.

I gave her a glass of water  instead as I sat in beside her on the couch. She drank and looked sadly at the glass.

"I'm not sorry about Tsukio" She said, I sighed and leaned back to the couch

"Of course you're not you hate him" I said to her, she just smiled and nodded

"Hina you don't know how much of a threat he his" She looked at me "For you especially"

"Well yea he used me and broke my heart so I guess he is" I smiled bitterly to myself

"Do you still keep in touch with him?" She asked me, I shook my head

"He doesn't text me that much anymore, so I guess he's over me" I felt my chest sting a bit

"Well it's best not to Hina" She said sternly, I sighed and nodded at her

We both sat there in silence until I suddenly remembered the day when we went to 7/11 in Rizal and bumped in to Mamoru, he seemed to knew Akane.

"Nee-chan" I called "Do you and Mamoru know each other?"

Akane's eyes widen, she looked away and fidget with her fingers
