CHAPTER 24

"Hina, this is Tsukio Matsunaga, one of our business partners"

I stared at Tsukio from head to toe. I wasn't expecting to see him now! More or less I never wanted to see him. He just reminds me of every mistake I made with him 7 years ago.

"Tsukio, this is Hi--"

"I already know her" Tsukio cut him off

My lips parted, did his voice become deeper than before? Or is it because I haven't heard him for years. He still has that cold attitude like before and he seemed at a bit buffer? This time, his hair grew longer and it was still side parted, like before, he seemed taller and he isn't wearing glasses anymore, maybe contacts. Well at least some parts of him didn't change.

"Oh.." Charles said, he looked at me "Friends? or--"

"Acquaintances" I said. I don't want him to say that I was his girlfriend and put me in a more awkward state than now!

Or maybe I'm just being paranoid

I tapped Charles' shoulder. I need to leave. "Hey Charles?" I said

"Yeah?" He smiled at me

I tried not to look at Tsukio but he keeps giving me that murderous look for some reason!

"I need to uhm.. Go to my friends they're calling me" He looked at Tsukio and back at me

"Sure.." He touched my shoulder "Tell them I said hi"

I nodded and walked quickly to Elena, who's stuffing herself with food, together with the others.

"Guys we need to go" I said to them, they looked at me with a confused look.

"Why?" Chunhwa asked

I wanted to tell them that Tsukio is here but knowing them they're either gonna make a scene here and destroy the party. Elena noticed me panicking, she looked at the others

"It's getting boring here, how about you guys stay in our place" Elena said

"I'm down if we're up with some scissors" We all looked at Chunhwa

"What?? We're all single so we should have more bonding time together" She smiled, Louisse facepalmed

"The only bonding you like is being wrapped around with a rope" Louisse said, Chunhwa rolled her eyes

"Hey at least we're doing it together" Chunhwa smiled

Natalie raised her hand "But I have--"

"We can bring him along and do an orgy" She said to Natalie, Andy's jaw dropped

"You sick bastard" Andy said, I cleared my throat. They're getting sidetracked

They all looked at me, I raised my brow at them.

"Oh yea right" Elena said as she stood up "Let's go!"

The girls followed as we headed to the celebrant to bid him goodbye and wished him a happy birthday.

We sat at by the TV and watched some random romance movie. All of the girls cried except for me and Elena since I'm dead inside and Elena denies every single of her feelings. Well Chunhwa and Andy were the ones crying at the most weakest scenes since they're such babies.
