CHAPTER 34

"Hina, he'll be fine"

I looked at Elena as she placed her hand on my shoulder. It has been weeks since he has been in the hospital unconscious , I'm getting worried.

"Elena, it's been weeks" I said "And he still hasn't woke up"

Elena sighed and stared at the hospital bed, he was shot in the back and it lodged into his arm. Tons of tubes were around him to support him, I couldn't stand staring at him for that long.

"Don't worry, he survived it despite it being a critical shot" She held my hand "He'll wake up in due time, at least the shooter was caught" I sighed and just nodded. I hope he'll be okay and wake up soon.

The guy who shot him was brought to jail for stealing the company's money and for owning a drug dealing business. Now that serves him right.

I hear the door open behind me, I looked at the door to see Tsukio enter. He gave me a smile and approached me.

"How's your dad?" He asked as he kissed my head. I pursed my lips at him.

"He'll be fine" I said, He looked at Elena and me

"How about you go to the cafeteria downstairs? Your friends are there waiting for you and you must be hungry" He said

Huh now that he said that I am kinda hungry. I nodded at him as Elena and I stood up, I gave one last glance at my dad and went out of the room.

Elena and I walked silently to the elevator to reach the cafeteria in the ground floor. I leaned against the cold wall of the elevator while Elena pressed the digits. I yawned and rubbed my eyes

"Hina you're still sleepy?" Elena said "You like, slept for three times this morning and the weeks before"

True I have been so sleepy lately and I don't know why. Maybe I'm just really tired from watching over my dad for the past 3 weeks.

Elena rubbed her abdomen and groaned as she placed her head against the wall.

"Ughh I hate my period, it's giving me the cramps again" I took out my phone and checked my calendar. I just realize I'm a week late from my period.

"I don't know about mine but I'm a week late from my period" I said. Elena looked up and stared at me

"Change of cycle?" I shrugged.

"Maybe" I pursed, though I had a sudden thought in my head, but I shook it off I was sure I took pills days after I had s*x with Tsukio.

We arrived at the ground floor. We both walked towards the cafeteria, for some reason I couldn't stop thinking about that day I did it with Tsukio in his office.

But I took my pills just three days after, since I missed some, I'm sure it'll be fine.

Chunhwa and the others were there by the entrance of the cafeteria. I smiled at them, I noticed Chunhwa holding a tupperware of food, my mouth started to water a bit.

"Hey Hina" Andy said "How's your dad?"

I smiled and nodded at them, though I still can't take my eyes off from Chunhwa's food

"He's fine, still unconscious but fine" I said, they just nodded and entered the cafeteria

We all sat on the table while Chunhwa placed down her food at the center. I gulped down my saliva, I'm really hungry.
