Upon her arrival at the table, many Slytherin's were esthetic about her. They introduced herself, a few of them introduced themselves  personally to her.

She only remembered a handful of names like Pansy Parkinson, Blaise Zabini, Crabbe and Goyle, Theodore Nott, Adrien Pucey, Marcus Flint, two prefects who goes by the name Alan Loriss, Rebecca Hawks, and of course, none other than Draco Malfoy.

Lily soon overheard the Slytherin's going into some sort of discussion about the other houses and couldn't able to tear herself away from the conversation

"We Slytherin's are the best house yet, we stick and help with each other, the other foolish houses could only care for themselves" hearing the argument, Lily couldn't help but pipe in they're small pep talk and raised an eyebrow "What's so bad about the other houses?" She asked innocently

An unknown six year Slytherin answered her question, when the other occupants stayed frozen upon hearing her voice

"Technicallyx there's nothing wrong with the other houses if I do say so myself, it's just they're treatment towards our house is necessary. They always few ourselves as the evil house, and they think that it would be better off be in any other house than ours. Only because You-know-who was sorted into Slytherin years ago. They seemed as if they had forgotten that they also had they're fair shares of dark wizards in the past.

Even more than us. And I think I cam speak for every Slytherin, that we'd never treat other's with Ill-respect if they hadn't started it first. Besides, like I said, us Slytherin's stick together and help each other. We're always loyal to a fault, and I'd be damned, that I myself, in fact know that we'd all kill to protect each other"

Lily had took his words into account and nodded towards herself, true that the other houses seemed as if they were mistreating the Slytherin house and took it rather too far.

Lily shrugged and smirked at the sixth year old boy and hummed in delight "Thanks for the quick pep talk, i think that you'd one day be very suitable at teaching" she pointed towards him, resulting a him bowing his head to hide his blush and Lily smirked even wider.

After Professor Dumbledore's short speech, food started appearing in front of the students. Causing Lily to look dumbfounded at the amount of food that is served. She wondered did the food got transformed magically? Or someone cooked them. Anyways she shrugged off the thought, and decided to start eating not wanting to delay anything anymore, cause at that point she was really hungry.

She ended up only eating a few unlike the other's. Her choice of meal was only mashed potatoes, roasted chicken, and some chips. Ate a Chocolate gateau and only drank a bit of tea and water. She particularly avoided anything with the material of Pork, Pumpkin, and Oranges.

When the students were done with the feast, the food suddenly dispersed, dissapeared and the plate wear was back to as it was before. Clean without a hint of stain on it.

The Professor's told the perfects to direct the first years towards they're common rooms. And so, Lily followed both Alan and Rebecca but halted midway, when she came face to face with her twin.

They didn't exchanged any words but Harry mouthed an  "I'll miss you" quietly at her and hugged Lily sideways before continuing to follow Percy to his own common room.

Lily trudged and made her way down to the dungeons, walking a few feet behind everyone else. Liking the calm and quiet of being alone more then being with her colleagues.
