6 p m"It's amazing." Lola says, a grin ear to ear as she looks around mine and Jacks new home.
"Isn't it." I wrap my arm around Jacks waist and he rubs my shoulder.
"It's so beautiful." She says and I nod, grinning at her and forcing my dimples which doesn't happen very often.
Jacks phone started to ring and he grabbed it from his pocket. "Ah.. it's work. I gotta get this." He purses his lips and backs away, to which I nod and smile.
He closes the door and answers his phone. "You know... Phoebe, I don't see very much of you in this house." Lola looks around.
"Hmm?" I reply.
"It's beautiful... but so monochrome. So him. Where's you?"
"Well, we've only just moved in." I chuckle. "It takes time, he wanted everything to be done before we moved in so I can start adding my stuff from now on."
Maybe.
"Okay." She sounded uncertain. "Well, as much as I'd love to stay all evening I'd better go back to Tom. And let you guys have the evening in."
"Thank you for coming round. I appreciate it." I wrap my arms around her giving her a tight hug.
"Let me know if you need anything." She squeezes me back.
"I will. I love you." I said.
"I love you. Make sure to call me." I nod and wave her out the door, standing by the doorstep until she reverses of the driveway and disappears down the road.
Whilst watching her go down the road, I spot a house across the street, a big group of people making their way inside the house. What looks like teenagers, ready for a long night.
I shrugged it off, someone's parents are obviously out and they're throwing a house party. A one night thing.
Closing the door behind me, I look at the house around me.
To my right was the living room, two white sofas cornering a TV with a grey rug and a glass coffee table. The cushions were black, which wouldn't be my choice, but neither would the sofas. White is always a bad idea, especially with a clumsy nut like myself.
The walls were a pale grey, the floor freshly carpeted. I huff and sit on the sofa, my feet throbbing from a tiring day at work and moving in to this house after.
I flicked on the TV and 'Friends' was already on, so I left it on and pulled my feet up onto the sofa, resting my face on the arm.
"The sofas are brand new and white. Take your feet off." Jack nudged my feet out the way and sat beside me. "You're gonna get your make up on the sofa."
I scoff, "I haven't even got any make up on." I took my face off the sofa anyway. "Who was on the phone?"
"Work."
"Everything okay?"
"Yeah all good." He flicks his phone off and chucks it on the sofa beside him. "Stressful day."
I hum in agreement.
"I know something that'll make us both feel better." Jack smirks and I couldn't help but bite my lip.
Jack was a nice looking man, well styled brown hair and big brown eyes framed by curly eyelashes. His skin was pale, though he suited it against his brown eyes.
"Mm, I think I know just what you're talking about." I throw my leg over his lap and wrap my legs around him, my arms around his neck. "And I agree."
His lips find mine and I can't help but moan into his mouth, my muscles relaxing as his hands grip the flesh of my arse.
Jack moans quietly before pulling away. "Not on the couch." He stands and my legs tighten around his waist.
I roll my eyes, hiding my face into his neck as he takes me to the bedroom.

I throw myself out of bed and storm towards the window, peering out the window not wanting to expose my naked body. The party down the street has gotten impossibly louder as the night went on.
"Just get back to bed." Jack yawned. "Can barely hear it."
"You would sleep through a burglary, or a fire alarm." I plopped back in bed and pulled the sheets back over my body, shivering lightly and hoping that Jack would cuddle me like he used to. But instead I got a view of his back.
I rolled over, sighing, and tried to block out the sound of the party.

9 a mI yawned, leaning against the kitchen counter in our, monochrome, kitchen. My satin robe was wrapped around me, I was bare underneath still, too tired to put on clothes.
6am the party finished, fair be it it quietened at 4:30, but still. That doesn't change the fact I didn't sleep.
At least it was just a house party, I was overthinking it due to it being our first night in.
"Do you want breakfast?" I ask Jack who sat at the kitchen counter, looking like an old man as he sipped his coffee and read the paper in front of him.
"No thanks."
"Okay." I grab some bread and stick it into the toaster.
"Did you get much more sleep?" He asks.
"Not really." Speaking about it makes me yawn. I searched for the peanut butter in the cupboard. "I'll make sure to get more sleep tonight."
"It is a university house. Might wanna go shopping for some earbuds today." Jack chuckles and sips his coffee.
"It is?" I turn to face him.
"Yeah. I didn't think it would bother you that much. Doesn't bother me." He shrugs. "That's why I got the house for such a good price."
I poke my tongue into my cheek. He knows I'm a light sleeper, but he paid for the whole house so I shouldn't complain. "Okay." I turn back to the cupboard. "Where's the peanut butter? I thought you said the cupboards had been stocked up?"
"Oh, I skipped the peanut butter. Didn't think you needed it."
I breath out to calm myself, my eyes closed.
The toast popped up and I jumped, my hand to my heart. I grabbed the butter from the fridge and buttered it quickly, before making my way upstairs quietly.
I sat in front of the mirror and eat my toast. I had lost my appetite, but forced myself to eat it anyway.
Maybe Jacks right. I wasn't fat, but my stomach wasn't toned, I had stretch marks over my hips, arse, thighs. Lola always told me my figure was amazing, telling me she would love to have a figure like mine, tanned skin like mine.
Maybe Lolas right. I couldn't see myself in this house at all.
