I woke up the next morning, thankful that it was Friday, and got ready for my classes. Once I was ready I grabbed my backpack and slung it over my shoulder. I walked out of my dorm room and went to the coffee shop that was near my housing unit. I got a medium iced coffee extra sugar. It was almost time for my first class so I walked to the building. As I was walking I could hear footsteps coming up fast behind me. I didn't stop to turn around in fear of who I thought it might be.

"Ella!" I heard his Irish accent call. Great, just great. I didn't stop walking or turn around. I picked up my pace a bit in hopes that he would realize I didn't want to talk to him. To my dismay he caught up with me and fell into step next to me.

"Hi." He said casually.

"What do you think this is? Do you think just cause you gave me my notebook yesterday I would want to talk to you or something?" I said.

"I don't know, does it matter? I just want get to know you." He said with a smirk.

"Why? You've never talked to me before and now you just randomly decide to?"

"Yeah I guess." There was a short silence after I didn't answer him and then he spoke again. "I like how sexy you get when you're mad Ella. You really know how to get a guys attention." My heart literally stopped, not because I liked what he said but because I was taken aback by what he said. I lost my balance and tripped on the sidewalk in front of the building spilling my coffee all over my shirt.

"Shit you okay?" Niall said bending down to help me.

"Stop, I don't need your help, you've been help enough." I snapped picking up my empty cup that's contents were all over my shirt now. I went to stand back up when I looked to see Niall starting to take his shirt off.

"What are you doing?" I asked him. He looked down at me.

"I'm giving you my shirt to wear." He said in an obvious tone.

"Uh no. You honestly think I'm gonna walk around wearing your shirt all day? No thank you." I said standing up from my knees.

I threw my backpack on my back and threw my cup away in the trash next to me.

"On the bright side, at least I got you on your knees." Niall said before I started walking away. My face turned bright red as I entered the building for my first class.

I tried to ignore the fact that Niall was basically hitting on me and flirting with me outside, but it was so lodged in my head that I couldn't even think straight. Why was he talking to me? What made him think that I wanted to talk to him? Why does he want to get to know me?

I still had a little time before my first class so I ran to the bathroom quickly to see what I could do to make my shirt look like less of a disaster. I grabbed some paper towels and started dabbing at my soaking shirt. I got off as much coffee as I could before giving up and throwing my sweatshirt on to cover it. I made it to my first class right as the bell rang and got to my seat. I made it through first class without Niall trying to talk to me again, and once the bell rang I got out of there as fast as I could.

I walked into the classroom for my second class and Sara was sitting there staring at the door. When she saw me walk in she straitened up and waited for me to come sit next to her. I decided I wasn't going to tell her about Niall this time because knowing her, she will go up to him and give him a piece of her mind. She will probably start something that I'm gonna have to finish, and I don't really feel like getting any more involved with Niall than I already am.

I made it to my seat next to Sara and when I sat down she just looked at me with her eyebrows raised.

"What?" I said.
