Thump...thump...thump

Katsuki's heartbeat echoed throughout the room as he stared at the computer screen. The bright screen illuminating on both of their faces. The room so dim and dark, so scary and tedious to the blonde. The computer screen then shuts off. Leaving them in the dim room alone, with Katsuki's heart pacing and Izu's mind racing.

Kat saw Izuku's face on the dark shiny screen. His brows furrowed and his mouth parted. His eyes are no longer as bright. His mind blank. To be honest, he didn't know what to say. He felt the tension rise in the room. Clouding the windows as the sun went down. As their souls pondered why there was no sound.

The silence was clawing at Katsuki. He felt his heart sink when Izu turned to face the blonde. His eyes a shade of green that Kat had never seen before. They stared at each other for a minute or two before Izu built up the courage to actually say profound words. Katsuki quickly ejecting his gaze.

"Kat"

"Kat!"

"Katsuki look at me!"

Izu felt his eyes water a bit when he saw the love of his life cower with his head low. "Is it true?" Izu asked with the softest tone he could use. With one swift movement, Katsuki took Izu's hand shakily and rubbed his palm.

"Yeah, I was d-diagnosed when I w-was 13."

Katsuki dared to look up at his lover. His world.

He found green eyes staring back at him with a blank gaze. Katsuki couldn't read the emotions written on Izu's face. He felt a tear slide down his face when Izu didn't say a word.

"Izu, please say something," Katsuki said on the brink of sobbing. Just as he was on the brink of death. "I-i don't know, I-did you-fuck..." Izu tried to explain what he was deciphering in his head. But he just stammered fragments of his thoughts.

"Do you think I'm crazy?"

"What no, Kat listen.." Izu tried to say but was quickly interrupted by Katsuki standing up. Izu raced in front of him to explain. Just as he was about to caress his lover's cheek his hand was smacked away.

"I can't do this" Katsuki said with his hands gripping his hair as he walked into the kitchen. "Kat just hold on" Izu tried to say to his troubled blonde but the blonde didn't listen. His mind was filled with false thoughts about himself. His self-loathing directed him to the thought that he feared the most. Izu hates him now.

Tears streaming down his face, Katsuki stomped to the front door. "I'm sorry izu, I wasn't good boyfriend and I can't fix myself to be one, you are so much better off without a piece of shit like me. I fucking love you okay. I love you so much that I'm going to disappear for you okay. I will wipe off the face of the earth for you. because I love you. Bye and find someone else better than I could have ever been.

Izu's mouth struggled to say words so he did what he could. He raced after the suicidal blonde running up the stairs to the roof. Katsuki wanted to touch the stars. But only to fall into the darkness beneath them.

The two racing to the top. With Katsuki slashing, with a razor blade, he had in his pocket, his wrists all the way up to his upper arm as Izuku raced after the blonde. The two finally reach the top. Katsuki running over to the ledge.

"Don't come any closer or I'll jump" Katsuki said with tears flowing down his crying face. The two stood apart. With the wind blowing in their faces. Izu now crying harder that Kat was.

"Please Kat, don't do it, you have so much to live for, you have me, you have your mom, you have your dad, goddammit you have the whole fuckig world! I'm sorry that I didn't help before. I'm sorry I sat there staring at you like an idiot! I'm so sorry please don't leave me, I don't think you're crazy. You're not crazy you hear me. You're not!" Izu screamed at the top of his lungs. Izu now close to the ledge as well curled up into the concrete sobbing and pleading for Kat to come down.

Kat slowly put his foot on the ground beneath Izu. The sound of his shoes clicking to the floor encouraged Izu to look up to only look down a Katsuki's body. His wrists.

He was bleeding out

Running out of blood

Running out of time

He whispered, "I won't do it, I won't I love you so much Izuk-"

"Kat, Kat, Katsuki!"

Izu shook his bleeding boyfriend as he dialed 119 to get help...

"I wish we never learned to fly"
