I felt my pigtails bounce behind me, swaying up and down, tapping against the back of my neck.

The ribbons in my hair fell onto my shoulders as I walked into the cafe on Main Street.

...That's when I saw him... Him sounds so odd writing this down now.

I picked up my pace and ordered my usual, a raspberry frappe with almond milk.

I spun around to wait at a booth nearby when I felt my face in someone's chest. I looked up, embarrassed. I saw Ol's face up close and personal, the first for many times to come.

He smiled and said: "Hi!" His face was also bright red.

A girl approached us, interrupting the clear moment we were having. That girl, her name and her face are something I've yelled at in my head and thrown darts are many times over the years.

"Hey, Olli, our coffee's here!" Her cheeks were tinged pink as she spoke. Her voice made me regret my decisions.

"In a sec. I gotta deal with clumsy here. Make sure you cool mine off first." He said in the girl's direction as she walked back to the table in the window of the shop. His rich Welsh accent. I wish I could've listened to it longer.

Then I knew I had fallen in love. He stepped back and waved in my face. "Hey! You still in there?"

I jumped. "Uh... Yeah." I held my hand out for him to shake. "March!" Introductions and first impressions were never my strong suit.

"Oliver Griffiths. Pleased to make your acquaintance!" He returned my gesture and waved goodbye and walked back to the girl he was with before.

Oliver, I didn't think you knew it yet, but I loved you. Right then and there. I had to eliminate the competition somehow, though...
