Worst Birthday Ever !

Mia's POV :

It's been a week now to be exact. Since Harry and I spilt. To be honest it's weird. It's lonely. Not seeing him, embracing him, kissing him or getting his amazing texts that always made me feel special. There was so many times that I wanted to call and tell him I wanted him back, but I always stopped myself just in time. I know he never meant to cheat but I can't look that easy. I had to wait till at least another week. And to top it off Luke will not stop trying to ask me out. Trust me I like him but I still have feelings for Harry. Ugh when did my life get so complicated. But to tell you the truth the only thing stuck in my head is what Daniel told me "Who will you chose the charmer or the knight in shining armor?" what did he mean. Who was who?

"Mia?"

"Yea?" the voice took me out of my thoughts.

"Happy Birthday."

Luke entered my room with a dozen roses and a teddy bear.

"I almost forgot it was my birthday."

He came closer handing the items to me. He put his hand in his pocket and revealed a long velvet box.

"This is your real present."

I took it from his hand and opened it to reveal a simple silver necklace with a heart.

"Look at the back of the heart."

I turned over the thin heart to reveal letters engraved. "to the most beautiful person"

"It's lovely Luke."

He motioned for him to put it on. His fingers grazing my bare skin. He sent shivers down my spine making me feel light headed.

"I'm glad you liked it." He said a bit shy.

"Thank you."

I jumped on him an hugged him. My arms around his neck while his arms rested on my waist. It felt perfect. I looked in his eyes and was lost. I was leaning closer. But the unthinkable happened. He pushed away. Did he not like me anymore.

"I can't handle you breaking my heart again. Until you officially are over with Harry we can only be friends."

I saw the hurt in his voice and eyes. I had done this.

"I-I'm sorry."

"Happy Birthday."

I didn't move to know that he left his warm was gone and the door shut. I was brought back to the real world when I heard the door. I ran towards it and revealed a guy with a work uniform on.

"Ms. Sahyounie?"

"Yes?"

"Please sign this."

I signed the paper and he gave me a box and left. Odd. I opened the box and revealed a note.

"So sorry I couldn't be there for your birthday. You know with the tour and us going our separate ways I thought it was best to just send it. Happy Birthday Love ~ "

Harry

I felt my cheeks get damp. I looked further in the box and revealed a velvet box. When I opened the box it revealed a bracelet. It was silver with a diamond hanging at the tip. There was a small rectangular part on it. I looked closer and saw it was engraved. "you're the only one ... Mia" I felt the hot tears spill.

Ugh !!! Why did it have to be my birthday I don't feel happy? This is the worst birthday. Oh dad if only you were here to wrap your arms around me and tell me it was all right. Why did you leave .... I'm all alone and lost ...
