My eyes flashed open and I jolted upright. Where was I? Around me I could see trees and rocks but I didn't recognise any of it. I got up, slowly, taking in my surroundings. I was alone in what appeared to be the middle of a forest.
All of a sudden, I heard movement, a slight rustling sound coming from behind me. Cautiously, I turned around, and my eyes fell upon a the figure of a person. From this far, I couldn't make out who it was but I could see two things. One was that this person, whoever they were, was facing away from me. The second was that this person looked familiar, although I had no recollection of ever meeting them.
And then I woke up.
