Chapter Fifty

Gabbie's P.O.V

Everything's going nice these days, Eve is back and Ashton and I are spending more time together. Sometimes we'd go out for dinner, and go adventure somewhere. I never have taken it seriously though, we're just two friends hanging out.

About Luke, I guess he's over me too. He has been throwing a lot of parties and there are rumors that Luke and Rachael are now dating. At first I didn't believe it but the answers are revealed when I saw them walking together, Rachael clinging on Luke's arm.

"Hi Gabbie!" Ashton greeted me

"Hey Ash." I smiled at him

"Want to go out?" He asked. Even though I want to go out today I feel so tired!

"I want to, but I feel like not today. Maybe next time?" I said

"Aw, it's ok." Ashton said

We talked for a few minutes then the two energetic girls, a.k.a Eve and Mikaela hugged me so tight like it's the last time they'll be seeing me.

"GABBIE DID YOU HEARD ABOUT THE RUMORS?!" Eve exclaimed

"WHAT RUMORS?!" I shouted "AND PLEASE STOP SHOUTING!" I added and Mikaela laughed

"Yeah, sorry babe." Mikaela said and winked at me

"Uh... Hello? Am I invisible to you girls?" Ashton said making me us laugh

"Hey Ash!" Mikaela and Eve greeted

"Hi Eve, Mikaela. I thought I became air or something." Ashton rolled his eyes

"Hey! Watch the eyes, mr. sassy pants." Eve said and Ashton smiled teasingly

"So, what rumor are you guys talking about?" I asked

"That Luke and-" Eve was cut off because of the loud ringing of the bell.

Dang that bell! I think ever since the first day that bell loves to distract us whenever we're having a conversation.

We bid our goodbyes and walked away. I'm really nervous because it's Science class. Means I have to face Luke. The class started and I don't know what's my problem, I payed more attention staring at the door waiting for him to arrive than listening to the teacher. I waited and waited, but guess what? He never came. Why do I care anyway? We're done, that's that.

The bell rung and I gathered all my things and get ready for the next subject. It felt like years when the lunch bell finally rung. When I faced Mikaela and Eve they laughed.

"Wow, you look horrible!" Mikaela joked and me being the sarcastic person I am, I replied.

"Thankyou, did you know this is the latest style?" I said sarcastically and they laughed

"Woah, chill." Eve said and I forced a smile

"Something interesting happened?" Eve asked

"No." I sighed

"Where's Ashton?" I asked

I swear Mikaela smiled widely at me and I raised my eyebrow at her.

"He said he can't join us today." Eve said

"And why are you smiling like that Mik?" I asked her and she shrugged

I feel like something is wrong, like she's hiding something from me but maybe she's just happy today.

Then the cafeteria doors open, I didn't checked who it is because I lnow that it's them. Other girls fixed their clothes too revealing so it's obvious that Luke and his friends finally arrived.

And ofcourse Rachael did something on purpose.

"Babe!" She screamed. Attention whore

"Uh Gabbie, that was what i'm trying to tell you earlier." Eve muttered

"Yeah, i've heard." I said

"I miss you!" Racharl's voice exclaimed

She wants to be dead. She knows that I can hear her.

"Don't mind her, what an attention seeker." Mikaela said rolling her eyes

"Yeah I know right." I agreed
