Chapter 15-

I took a deep breath standing up and walking away from Westley to never see him again. As I headed to the drain I had seen in the other room I stopped. I looked at all of the bodies that lay everywhere heat rising in my chest and face. "Pierce.... I'm going to kill you." I said in a whisper. "Pierce." Saying that a little louder. "I'm going to kill you!"

I saw a rusty knife that hung on the wall by a hook. Gabbing it I yelled, "Pierce!"

And with that he came, appearing right in front of me arms spread asking in a silent way for a hug looking handsome. I backed away hiding the knife behind my back, Pierce's smile falling. "Oh Reina, you're so disobedient." He put his hands on his hips tilting his head. "I thought I told you to stay put? Now... what could be a good discipline." Pierce raised his head squinting his black eyes, grinning.

"You-- you killed my friends, and-- and so many other people. Just. For. Fun." With my anger rising I stuttered making me even more mad.

Pierce looked aghast covering his mouth with his gloved hand. "What?! Just for fun?! I think not!" Pierce scowled, black smoke swirling around his legs reaching his waist.

"Then explain to me why not." Crossing my arms I stepped forward trying to show that I wasn't afraid of him, but I was.

Pierce through his head back "Hahaha! Well I do it for a good reason." Pierce ran his hands through his black hair, smiling a shark toothed smile. "I eat them."

My mind went racing, I glanced at the knife I held in my hand. I looked back to find Keeper now had his arms around my back pulling me in, still clutching the knife. "Then-- what-- what about Sarah? You said you loved her!"

Pierce looked down on my terrified face and grinned, "Ah, yes, Sarah. Yes, I did love her. She was delicious." He whipped out his tongue that was now like a lizard's. I grimaced, gripping the handle of the knife harder.

Pierce put his cold lips to my ear, "And some I keep for myself." I held my breath closing my eyes, tears running down my cheek, heart pounding. Pierce's hands ran down my back pulling me in closer. He looked into my eyes smiling wickedly, then leaned forward. He kissed me. I couldn't believe it. Anger and rage ran through me, I raised the knife while he was still busy kissing me, and stabbed him in the back. Pierce leaned back screaming in pain.

I stumbled backwards tripping on my skirt, shaking. Still screaming in agony, black smoke exploded from under Pierce's feet and hands filling the room in complete darkness. I stood in confusion, hands spread out trying to get balanced. Pierce's screams stopped then laughing broke the silence. "Oh my dear Reina." I heard shuffling of feet, "You are just perfect."

The black smoke started clearing as I reached a damp wall running my hands across it till I found a hallway. I looked behind me so I knew he wasn't following. I tried to run but my legs were too shaky and there were too many bodies laying on the floor. And just for that split second of stopping, Pierce pounced on me like a cat, making me fall on my back. Pierce's knees pinned my arms to the floor, his long black cloak draping over me. A crazy smile spread on his lips, his teeth jagged and sharp.

My eyes darted around until I saw the handle of the knife still stuck in Pierce's side. Pierce put his hands to my neck choking me. I pulled my arm out from under his leg and reached for the knife. Pierce shifted his body so the knife was now out of my reach. I started crying, trying to pull away from him but his grip tightened. Becoming lightheaded, I looked back at the knife handle longing to reach it.

Pierce drooled like a hungry dog. He bent down close to my lips breathing heavily. "I would like to very much keep you but blimey, I just think you're too disobedient." Pierce's hands squeezed my neck harder making me dizzy, about to pass out. He kissed my neck and up to my lips, "Oh, my lady," Pierce breathed hard, "...don't squirm, that will just make things harder." Pierce put his lips to mine closing his eyes, his hands squeezed my neck harder. Suddenly, Pierce loosened his grip gasping, his eyes rolled back into his head, blood dripped out of the corned of his mouth then Pierce went limp. I gasped and coughed for air as his dead cold body lay on top of me. In shock, I rolled his body off.

In the back of Pierce's head, the knife that was in his side, was now handle deep into his skull. There, sitting on the floor was Mckenzie, dirty and covered in blood, eyes wide. "Mckenzie?" I sat up looking at her in astonishment.

"Yeah, I wanted to do that to this creep ages ago." She stood looking down at Pierce's body grimacing and stomped on his bloody head. She held up her hand for me to grab and I did.
