She doesn't like to be disliked and her image is more important to her than she'd admit. She thrives when she's the center of attention. She loves life, but isn't a reckless person. She knows when it's time to be serious and when it's time to have fun.
𝑩𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚/𝑭𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒚 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆: Mari was raised in a wealthy household. Her family was close to the headmaster at Welton and they used that to their advantage of getting her into the prestigious school. Her parents always wanted her to be a lawyer and have been pushing her towards that all her life. There's always been a tense relationship between Mari and her mother, just because her mother always pushed her so hard. Mari turned to writing as a way to escape her mother's ideas.

𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚: Max is a cynic. He always believes that there is an ulterior motive behind everyone. He can be a bit standoffish, and cold at first glance. When you get to know him he is a sarcastic little dude, and tends to make people mad a lot. He doesn't act this way towards people in authority, he is more respectful towards them. He hates gossip and is quick to shut it down. He is extremely loyal to his best friends, and would do anything for them. Max is very dedicated to a job, and he will finish any task that is given to him. He gets irritated easily. He's really a softie inside
𝑩𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚/𝑭𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒚 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆: Max grew up in a family that truly did love each other, but never knew how to express it. His parents have always pushed him to strive for his best, but they have differing views on how to shine. His mother never wanted him to attend Welton and is typically more laid back, but his father pressures him to continue on the family legacy. All of the ideals that Max has grown up on centers around the need to continue the family legacy.
