"It's a surprise I can't tell you!"
You rolled your eyes, "Cedric, as your girlfriend, I think I deserve to know where we're going!"
He laughed. Currently, the two of you were in Hogsmeade on a date. But this one was different than others, because Cedric was adamant on surprising you. So once you stood at the entrance to the village, allowed him to tie his scarf around your eyes to blindfold you.
"Y/N that's the point of a surprise. You're not supposed to know." You could hear the smug smile on his face.
"Cedric I hate surprises!" you shouted back laughing. You had your hands out in front of you just incase you fell.
He gasped theatrically, "What? You? This is news to me?!"
Under the scarf, you rolled your eyes. A smile appearing on your face. "You know, if I wasn't so in love with you, I'd probably loathe you. You're a real foul git."
You couldn't see him, but you knew he was smiling.
"Cedric we've been walking for ages, and I'm scared that the longer I'm blindfolded, the more likely I am to fall."
"Alright, we're almost there"
As you continued to walk cautiously by putting your foot out in front of you to feel for any obstacles, you slipped on a hidden patch of ice.
Flying backwards, you braced yourself for the impact of the cold, hard ground. Yet it never came.
Instead, you felt a pair of arms wrap around you. He lifted the blindfold from off your eyes, the scarf now resting on your forehead. You looked at Cedric poutingly, your lips pursed in annoyance.
Still holding you in his arms he laughed, "that's one way to make an entrance."
Making your way back to your feet, you lightly shoved his shoulder.
"What, no clumsy pickup line as to how I 'fell for you' this time?" you chuckled.
He smiled at you. When he looked at you like this it caused a warm feeling to erupt throughout you. It was like butterflies but less extreme; you always thought it was love, a sort of physical reminder of how you felt about him.
"Y/N I can only make that joke so many times, and you're pretty clumsy. So at this point I've exhausted it."
Rolling your eyes, you turned to see where you had ended up.
"Madame Puddifoot's Tea Shop?" you spat in shocked disgust. "Cedric why would you bring me to this bloody nightmare? We hate this place... All the couples and their gross PDA." you shuddered.
"I'd much rather just spend time with you in the dorms watching muggle movies or something." He loved watching movies with you. The Wizarding world didn't have a great selection so when you introduced him to the movies your family would watch, he started loving them. It was your favorite activity to do together in your free time.
