"Please tell me you're lying. Like that has to be a lie. I thought it was a nightmare." Marlee groaned as she got out the bed and rubbed her forehead

"Marlee. It was e v e r y w h e r e. It was inches from his face." Fatima noticed that Marlee looked like she was about to cry so she stopped talking before she said "I don't think anyone recorded, they might not even have noticed who did it."

"In all seriousness I'm super embarrassed. I'm embarrassed because it happened in front of everyone, because it happened in general and because it happened right when I was about to kiss him."

"Wait you were about to KISS him? This changes so much." At this point Fatima had wide eyes and was completely ready to interrogate her

"YES, it felt like scene out of a movie. A moment that was stolen from me. By me" Marlee said as she laid face down on her bed

"Get up, we can fix it. What was his name?" Fatima put her computer on her desk and got in completely detective mode. She wanted to see who Marlee almost kissed.. and puked on.

"His name was August, he didn't tell me his last name."

"Well August is pretty unique so we should be able to find him on the student roster." Fatima was super confident that she was about to start a love story for Marlee

But once Fatima searched his name in the roster she was not expecting to find 4 August's, all sophomores and no photos were included.

"So ummm." She was not expecting that, neither of them were

"How about we take this as a sign from God. Maybe I was not meant to see him again. This could be a win win scenario for both of us." Marlee said as she paced around their dorm

"Relax. I can ask Leo, you know he knows everyone on campus. You'll have his contact information in no time. Hopefully this August still wants to kiss you." She snickered before it turned into a full on laugh

"I'll accept that joke just this one time. I don't want to see him though. There's too much embarrassment in the air, and I thought you were searching for him for your own inquiry."

"I'm sorry, I won't joke about it anymore. I pinky promise." Fatima said as she held out her pinky and interlocked it with Marlee's "I was searching him to see what he looked like, since you almost kissed him. I won't ask about him anymore if you don't want me to."

"You keep talking about the kissing part as if I did not regurgitate all over his nice outfit.. On his skin. But Thank you so much, world's best roommate right here."

Once Fatima got up to turn on her diffuser someone started knocking at the door, once she peeped through the peep hole

Fatima got up to answer the door and once she saw who it was her immediate response was "What are y'all doing here?" With that response Marlee automatically knew that Rodney and Leo were at the door. If the girls weren't at their apartment, they were always at the girls dorm.

"That's the welcome we get? I'm hurt." Rodney grabbed his chest and acted fake hurt

"Oh stop being a baby. I should've known it was you guys since y'all stay over here. But seriously what are y'all doing here? Don't y'all having cleaning up to do from the party?"

"We can stop over to see y'all? That's how you moving?" Leo asked while looking at both Fatima and Marlee

"That was all Fatima. I like when you guys come over." Marlee threw in

"This is why you're my favorite." Leo said while smiling at her before he finished "And to answer you Fat, we're sophomores now. We have freshmen to clean after us. It's called Hierarchy." Marlee laughed like it was the funniest thing ever
