The Deal

Chapter Ten

Taehyung let out a soft sigh as he checked his appearance in the mirror. He went for a style that suited the modern era he was in, which included khaki slacks, and a white long sleeved shirt that tucked into the slacks. 

The shirt itself was quite baggy on him, but the vampire didn't mind much. He adorned his feet in black socks and brown dress shoes, followed by a white mask, which was tucked below his chin. His hair was styled messily, the black locks draping over his forehead in a way that accentuated his alluring features. 

"Jeongguk, are you ready yet?" 

The vampire raised his voice, hoping that the human would hear him. He had allowed the other to wear his clothes for the day, seen as Jeongguk didn't exactly have clothes of his own to wear. It helped that the two were about the same size in the waist and legs. 

However, Taehyung's shoulders were a bit broader than Jeongguk's, so any shirt would look a little bit baggy no matter what the human did. 

"Yeah, what- what do you think..?" 

The human emerged from the bathroom, wearing a pair of black jeans and a royal blue turtleneck. His hair was styled similar to Taehyung's but the human's hair laid flat while Taehyung's was a mess of curly locks. 

He smirked a bit as he approached his human, gently tilting the male's chin up to place a delicate kiss on his soft, pink lips. 

"You look great. Semi formal, yet still professional to an extent. I love the shoes, they match your outfit well. And where did you find that turtleneck? I don't believe I've ever seen it before." 

Jeongguk laughed shyly before shrugging a bit. 

"Dunno. There was a bag labelled with my name, so I assume that Namjoon must have brought it for me to wear. Y'know, to cover my neck. I can't exactly walk around with exposed bite marks. There are a lot of humans who have no idea that vampires exist. I don't want to expose your kind and cause some sort of insane widespread panic." 

Taehyung could only chuckle, hands slipping beneath the turtleneck to massage Jeongguk's hips.  

"Fair enough, my little human. Shall we go?" 

Jeongguk nodded his head, offering another shy smile. The pair exited Taehyung's bedroom, entering into a dimly lit hallway. Jeongguk was obviously awestruck, gawking at the expensive and lavish features. 

Taehyung could only smirk, knowing full well that the human was beyond impressed with the mansion. After a few twists and turns, they descended down two staircases, making it to the main hall, where Namjoon was waiting. 

Namjoon offered a deep bow, muttering a greeting, and then opening the main doors, revealing the front of the property. The large brick driveway was surrounded by a well trimmed green lawn, and small flower gardens that were neatly trimmed and cleverly placed. Taehyung placed his arm around his human's waist as they ascended the walkway, approaching an all black limousine that was awaiting them. 

Once again, Namjoon opened the door, and bowed slightly. Jeongguk's gaze was on everything all at once, still gawking at his surroundings, which Taehyung found more than amusing. The two got in the limo, and Jeongguk quietly thanked Namjoon, which earned him a small laugh. 

"No need to thank me, sir Jeon. My duty is to serve Prince Taehyung and Prince Yoongi. Now that you stand by his highness's side, you are no exception. I will treat you as I do them. If you ever need anything, I will acquire it for you. Please do not be afraid to ask for anything, sir Jeon." 

And with that, the door shut, leaving Jeongguk and Taehyung together in the limo. The ride was mostly silent, save for Jeongguk's soft murmurs as he poked at his phone. 

"Baby, do you mind if I have a taste of you before we reach your college? I'm still not at my full strength, I don't want to pounce on you in the middle of one of your classes." 

Taehyung watched as the human froze, his cheeks burning a bright pink. 

"Y-yeah.. I-I, let me take this off, d-don't wanna stain the shirt." 

Taehyung smirked a bit, stopping Jeongguk from removing the turtleneck. 

"I don't have to just feed from your neck. Your wrist will do just fine." 

"O-oh? Um, okay, if you say so. H-here."

The human was nibbling on his bottom lip, which enticed Taehyung to grab onto Jeongguk's wrist, and lay a few soft kisses onto the skin before biting down, feeling his inner beast stir at the sound of the human's soft cry of pain and pleasure. 

He lapped up some more of the sweet crimson nectar before removing his fangs, and licking over the wound to clot the blood. He pulled Jeongguk closer, and pecked his lips, offering a gentle smile. 

"Thank you, my little human. I appreciate your efforts." 

Jeongguk only smiled shyly, cheeks still a bright pink. 

"O-of course, Taehyung. Whenever you need it, all you have to do is ask." 

Taehyung nodded, pulling the human close to him to cuddle for the remainder of the ride.
