Taehyung let out a sigh for the millionth time, watching as Jeongguk rushed around their room, searching for the right outfit. He was going to meet his mother for the first time in years, and the younger was quite obviously very excited.
The next time that Jeongguk darted out of the closet, he was dressed in a style similar to Taehyung's, consisting of ripped jeans, and a loose, dark blue-ish silver shirt, which was tucked in in the front, and then a pair of shiny black shoes matched with a small belt for decoration.
He did a brief turn-about in the mirror before turning his gaze to Taehyung, who hummed softly, looking at Jeongguk with a small, loving smile.
"You look beautiful, my little human. She's waiting for you, should we go now?"
Once he got a short nod in response, Taehyung moved to his feet, allowing the human to straighten his shirt out, before looping an arm around his human's waist, and guiding them to the main doors of the mansion.

The second that Namjoon had pulled up in front of the apartment building, Jeongguk was off, and Taehyung let out a heavy sigh before taking off after his human. He caught up rather quickly, and as it was later at night, he didn't have to worry about other humans catching him.
Smoothly, he scooped Jeongguk up by his waist, placing sweet kisses on the human's exposed shoulder.
"Calm yourself, baby. I'll take you to her now, okay? But don't run off like that, some of the vampires here have a particular distaste for humans, even if you're my human, they don't like your scent. You should stay next to me for now, okay?"
Taehyung smirked as his human whimpered in submission, automatically tilting his head to the side, exposing his neck to Taehyung. And Taehyung bared his fangs, tempted to feed from his lover once again, but slowly managed to control himself as he put Jeongguk back on the ground, and slung his arm around the younger's waist, guiding him to his mother's apartment.
Once they arrived, Taehyung let out a soft sigh.
"Unfortunately, Namjoon, nor I can follow you inside. Namjoon had a non vampire set up barriers to keep vampires out of the apartment, in order to keep her safe. Not even me, as a Royal Blood, can enter. You can take as long as you want, Namjoon and I will wait right outside the door in case anything happens."
Jeongguk's beautiful brown eyes were glittering with trust, affection, and sorrow.
"I want you to meet her, Taehyung-ah... I- I think you would really like my mom. She's very sweet and friendly..."
His hands fisted* Taehyung's shirt, a couple stray tears slipping down the human's cheeks. Taehyung was quick to wipe them away, however, and connect their lips in a long, slow kiss, prodding his tongue against Jeongguk's lips softly.
The human moaned out softly, his lips opening to let Taehyung in almost immediately. Taehyung's felt his beast stir, contentment filling him as he embraced Jeongguk's lips, pulling the human's body close, arms wrapping around the latter protectively.
When they parted, Taehyung stared into Jeongguk's eyes, finding it nearly impossible to look away.
"Trust in me, I won't let anything happen to you or her, Jeongguk. You're my everything, I'll never let someone or something take you away so easily."
Jeongguk smiled at Taehyung, his gaze soft and loving.
"I trust you with all that I have, Taehyung. Thank you, thank you so much."
With that, Jeongguk unlocked the apartment door, turning back to look at Taehyung once more before the door shut, leaving Taehyung and Namjoon outside.

So like, quick A/N, but, apparently "fisted" isn't a word??
Like it shows up on my phone as not a word, same with my computer (I sometimes interchange between writing on either devices).
But "fist," "fisting," those are both actual words lol. I don't know, I feel like "fisted" should be a word. It's literally just adding two letters to "fist" like half the other damn words in the English dictionary.
Welp, that's all for that lol, sorry for waiting so long to update! Also, please let me know your thoughts on the last update from The Son of Zeus (TSOZ) so I can finish the story. It only needs 1 to 2 more chapters, but I can't choose which way I want it to end, so I asked the readers, and I haven't gotten many replies yet. I need at least 5, and then I'll make the final update. Please let me know soon!!
