I love Laval's expression in this picture. So peaceful. The background is nice too -- one of the few sketches I didn't outline the background for with a pen. It's also one of the first backgrounds to have proper blending.
Also, trivia -- his tunic was colored in with a pen. I didn't realize it until I realized I wasn't using my colored pencils. Oof. :D
