Lydia looked up at the slightly taller demon as his feet settled on the ground. She smiled slightly at his surprised face. She knew he would be confused on why the very person who killed him would bring his lazy ass back to the mortal era. His face changed to worry in a split second when he saw Lydia's small smirk that had formed in her thoughts.
He had started to worry about why she could have summoned him. She could be planning to kill him again, or just make him suffer, or something he couldn't even imagine.
"Why am I here?" He asked. Lydia walked over to him and she yanked him down by the ear, making him yelp. His hair turned brown while he tried to get her off. It hurt like hell, and she had a monster like grip on him. After a minute or two she let go of him, hearing footsteps in the hall. Being a teen, she had memorised every foot pattern.
She looked over at the door as it opened. Adam walked in and was about to question Lydia when she gestured to the demon man next to her, shutting him up. A blush formed on his face as he walked slowly into the room. BJ was still holding his ear a little and gasped when he looked up to lock eyes with Adam. Lydia smiled wide when Adam took a few steps closer. BJ stood frozen with wide eyes and bright soft pink hair.
"She did it!" He said quickly, pointing to Lydia. Adam rolled his eyes and strolled right up to Beetlejuice, taking a few strides to reach him. Beetlejuice started to panic but Adam grabbed his jaw and kissed him passionately. Lydia looked at them and smiled.
"My work here is done." She mumbled, jogging out the room before she could see anything they may end up doing. She decided to go off to the Netherworld. Barbara and Tina needed to know what she managed to do. Lydia grabbed the chalk and drew the simple door, remembering to add a doorknob this time. She had forgotten it once and couldn't get in. She knocked three times, realizing a lot of thing needed to be done in three.
She stepped in, feeling the usual chill as she walked her way over to the waiting room. She saw that Tina was filing papers while talking to a new person who had just entered the netherworld. Barbara was nowhere to be found. Lydia walked over to the ticket dispenser and grabbed one, the number being two away. It always did that for her.
Lydia took a seat next to a guy who had a knife through the back of each of his hands. He had scars all down his arms and one on his throat. He started a conversation with her and was surprised when he found out Lydia was living. They talked more and more and she found out his name is James Addams. He was the uncle to a girl named Wednesday and a boy named Pugsley. His brother Gomez was the charmer, but James ended out with a murderer. And not the kind they like.
"You should meet Wednesday. She goes to Patterson High, and lives up on a creepy hill in this quiet neighborhood full of middle class suburban white people." He said with a smile. Lydia was called up and she waved bye to James, promising she'd visit him and maybe bring Wednesday along since they went to the same school. He seemed happier and looked down at his long number, his face turning sorrow.
"Hey Tina! I wanted to share some gossip with you, about Adam and, uh, you know who else." She said. Tina's face brightened and she turned off her light, saying she was on break. She grabbed Lydia and brought her to the back, Barbara cleaning up the shelves. She looked up with a bright smile.
"Hi Lydia! What's up?" She asked putting a small statue of a family member.
"She had gossip about Adam and You know who else!" She squeals as she sits next to Barbara. Bab's face was in a little shock.
"So yes, I summoned him back. No he didn't kill anyone. I grabbed him by the ear, making him squeal really really loud, and then I heard the foot pattern of Adam through the hall. I let go and he grabbed his ear, being a little wimp because it hurt," Lydia giggled with the other girls. "Then Adam walked in worried, cuz he heard a yelp, of course. Then he saw BJ and he looked lovestruck! He gasped a little, walking closer. Then BJ looked up and the both froze. BJ tried not to look freaked out or scared, but his hair gave it all away."
"Obviously, that hair has always gave him away when he tried to sneak out over the past 140 years." TIna giggled at the thought.
"Yeah! Then Adam started to stride up to him, grabbing his face, and kissing the guy!" The other gasped and then a knock was heard on the door. Barbara got up since it was her turn to be receptionist. The couple kissed and Bab went out to work. Tina looked at Lydia and grinned. "I left soon after that, but I may or may not have heard a slight thud against the wall. Meaning on of them pinned the other, or the shoved the other down." She giggled and sat up, ready to leave.
"Well, bye Lydia. I shall say to James that he gets a lovely house of his choice, you seem to like him and his familia pretty well. Goodbye Lydia!" She said happily, sad the girl had to go, but also happy she made a friend.
"Okay then!" She said running out to her door she made just before it had closed, waving to Adam on her way out.

Meanwhile in the Mortal World
----
Adam pulled back from kissing the shorter male and blushed, not knowing where the sudden burst of top energy came from. He blushed and started to stutter, not knowing what to do at all in that situation. Beetlejuice was just frozen, staring up at the taller male. He lifted his arms and just, hugged Adam. He buried his face in Adam's chest and squealed a little, jumping up and wrapping his feet around Adam's waist.
"Thank you for not hating me-"
Adam hugged him back tight, turning around and walking away from the far wall. He walked over to the door and opened it, feeling a little bit of extra weight on himself. He knew that feeling, Beetlejuice was falling asleep in his arms already. Adam stepped out into the hall and walked out near the living room where he saw Charles sitting on the couch. He sped past, Charles ignoring the ghost.
Adam went up to the attic, carrying BJ up the whole way. He walked over to the bed and lied down, Beetlejuice adjusting so he could be the little spoon and Adam the big spoon. Adam wrapped his arms around the demon and buried his face into his neck, feeling warmth instead of cold like he did before.
Adam sighed, falling asleep with his love in his arms.
