Forbidden Love

Chapter 7

Vampires, warlocks and hunters were fighting in hand to hand combat battle, the warlocks and placed a spell that would no longer allow there guns to work as long as the bullets were wooden or infused with sage, luckily for us that was most of there guns expect for a few. As soon as me and Kevin stepped into the room four near by hunters charged us. I roundhouse kicked the first one that got near sending him flying backwards into the battle zone. He was stuck down my another vampire. Suddenly the second hunter slammed into me tackling me to the ground, Kevin was busy fighting the two hunters in hand to hand combat, a green burst erupted from Kevin's now free hand the two hunters turned to ash. The hunter that had tackled me down was trying to wrap her hands around my neck, I lifted my leg kneeing her underneath her ribs several times until she fell beside me, I lifted my laser gun and blasted, one less hunter to worry about.

I quickly stood up and ran back to the stairs, I lifted my laser gun and started picking off hunters one by one. As the princess I was taught to always take the higher ground, to protect myself and still fight. I made sure to also protect Kevin, he wasn't dying today.  Suddenly The Iron Chains leader wielding the sword is standing directly in front of the Warlock King.  He releases a loud roar and swings the sword at Kevin. He rolls out of the way and I lift my laser gun, aiming for the hunter leader. I release a series of blast but he dodges them all expect one, a laser blast catches him in the arm burning his skin. He moves and grips his arm which leaves an opening for Kevin. I need to get to him if we are going to defeat him. I rushed into the fight just in time to see Kevin land a close fisted punch to the hunter leaders nose. Blood burst out of his nose and it's clearly broken,a piece of bone sticking out from his left nostril. He stumbles and comes back swinging the sword, barley missing me and Kevin who dodge it's sharp way.

"You fucking animals are done." He charges forward and lands a kick to my gut I fall backwards on my ass with the air knocked out of me. Kevin releases a blast from his palms that knocks the hunter leader back skidding across the floor. Kevin is then by my side offering me his hand picking me up.

"You okay." He brushed away some dust, I went to reach out but Kevin was kicked down to his knees. I went to kick the hunter leader but was grabbed by both arms and pulled back. I was being held by two hunters and watched as the Iron Chains Leader held the sword to Kevin's neck. My eyes widened in terror and I tried to break lose but another hunter came and knocked me to my knees. All the other vampires and warlocks were deep into the fight trying to survive, no one had noticed what was happening. The hunter leader had a sinister smirk on his face as he held the most dangerous weapon to the neck of the man I loved.
