After my encounter with Kevin, I quickly rushed home. As soon as I entered I walked straight into my mothers chambers, she was at the vanity brushing her long her.

"What do you need rebel daughter." I cringed, she was in a mood.

"We have a problem." I stood behind her with my hands on my hips waiting for her attention.

"Spit it out then." She continued brushing her hair and clearing getting on my nerves.

"The blood moon sword was found." I visibly saw her tense and place the brush on the vanity. She spun around to face me, her lips in a thin line.

"Where?" She waited for my response and placed her hand on her own hips.

"In an old meat factory run my humans, I believe it was being protected and held onto for the hunters." She stood up from her vanity seat and made her way toward the bed sitting on its edge.

"That's what they have been searching for and the human attacks. That could only mean the warlocks have the sword, we need the sword." She stood up and walked to her closet gathering a pair of jeans and a simple shirt, she was going to the warlocks.

"Mother the sword is safe with the warlocks, as long as the hunters don't get it, we are fine." She walked out the closet dressed and approached me with disgust on her face.

"Warlocks are scum, that king of there's will use it against us. We need the sword so that we can end the warlocks once and for all." As she stood in the room the only light coming from a near by lamp cast shadows on her face, she looked distorted and evil. There was a bigger picture here but she was allowing her hatred to overrule her thoughts.

"Mother we need to come together, we need to keep the sword away from the hunters. The warlocks are no longer the enemy." She looked at me with utter disgust, she lifted her hand and slapped me across the face, I was a taken back by the harsh blow that I grabbed my left side cheek stumbling back.

"How dare you defend the warlocks," Her spit hit my face she bared her fangs hissing. I turned to leave the room quickly reaching for my phone, "Where are you going, we aren't done here." I flipped her the bird and walked out of her chambers slamming the door behind me. I leaned my head against the door and felt an angry tear slip from my eye.

I was walking up towards my room when I started to call Kevin but he didn't answer. I shut the door behind me in my room and tossed myself onto my bed. I closed my eyes trying to control my anger towards my mother, when I heard a commotion downstairs. It was quiet a few minutes ago and now it sounded like a party without the music. I ran out of my room and ran downstairs, everyone was inside the briefing room that was beside the living room.

"What's going on?" The rest of my clan looked at me with shocked expressions. The leader of our tactical investigation group spoke to us.

"The hunters raided the warlocks, they have the sword."
