Author's Note:
This chapter will revisit the original Nagoya Arc to build up to the first encounter with Crowley. Please remember that I am not trying to copy the original work but that I am utilizing the Nagoya Arc to create a storyline of my own! <3 All recognizable characters and plot are not mine and I give full credit to the author of Owari no Seraph. Once again, I DO NOT own Owari no Seraph or the characters from it. This is a work of fan-fiction, not a completely original piece!

"Ah, good morning!" I beam as soon as Shusaku opens the door.
Shusaku jerks in surprise and sighs, "Why do you always do that, Sergeant (Y/N)." Shusaku gets startled so easily and I love seeing his reactions.
"Well, I was just about to knock but you opened the door," I tease, "anyways, you both ready to go?" I peek inside to see Taro rushing to put his uniform gear on.
"Give me just a moment please!" Taro says as he hurries.
------------------------------------------------------
My squad and I alight our transport vehicle at Ebina rest stop, where we see Major General Shinya Hiragi, Lieutenant Colonel Guren and his squad, along with other high-rank soldiers. Lt. Col. Guren and I exchange greetings and he mentions that my squad will be paired with another Moon Demon squad that needs some growing up to do.
During the briefing, a squad with younger soldiers arrives late, causing a commotion, and is scolded by Lt. Col Guren. I chuckle, amused by the youthful behavior of them.
I wish I could act more my age too.
I introduce myself and my squad to the young squad after the briefing and explain that our squads will be working together on this vampire extermination mission. Sergeant Shinoa humbly greets me and seems mature, along with the rest of their comrades... except for the boy called Yuu, who seems extremely overeager about killing vampires.
------------------------------------------------------
1400 hour strikes and our first mission, assassinating the Fifteenth Progenitor Lucal Wesker, commences.
We successfully assassinate Lucal Wesker without anyone getting injured, and I am rather surprised by the team-work of Shinoa's squad. Although they are a bit rusty, they care for and trust each other.
We meet at our rendezvous point exactly 15 minutes after 1400. We reunite with Lt. Col. Guren's squad and a few other squads... but missing at least 30 men. Lt. Col. Guren briefs us about the shocking situation at Nagoya City Hall and that it is most likely a trap set for higher-ranking soldiers, but we decide to proceed anyway.
------------------------------------------------------
"I see him! It's the noble we've met before! With the red hair and the two female nobles! Permission to snipe!" Yoichi exclaims nervously.
"Yoichi, I give permission to snipe. Everyone, go free the hostages now! Shinya and I will attack the nobles and keep them busy. Reunite in five minutes, no matter what. You hear me, Yu?" Guren declares as he glares at Yuu. I'm guessing he's a trouble-maker of some sort.
The moment Yoichi fires his Gekkoin, we all rush towards the hostages while Lt. Col. Guren and General Shinya advance towards the nobles. While everyone is freeing the hostages, the fighting inside city hall gets rougher and brutal.
"We have to go help Guren!" Yuu hollered, "please Shinoa, we have to." Shinoa asks my squad and I grant them permission. My squad and members of Guren's squad free the remaining hostages as Shinoa's squad leaves for assistance. With the remaining two minutes left with all hostages freed, my squad also decides to give support.
------------------------------------------------------
"Guys, get Shinoa's squad out of here. We have to evacuate. We can't defeat these nobles." I enunciate, not being able to believe what I was seeing. Lt. Col. Guren is captured and Shinoa's squad is basically wiped out with no options left.
"You guys go, I'll do what I can. Just try to get them out of here when the clock strikes!" I mumble as we hid, trying to make sure we are kept unnoticeable by the nobles at the end of the hallway.
"(Y/N), we can't leave you!" Yayoi cries.
"Please, listen to me just once. I command you all as the Sergeant of this squad," I say as I pull out both of my pistols, "I'll see you guys in a few minutes, I promise."
------------------------------------------------------
I run upstairs and notice that the floor is mostly deconstructed, giving me a perfect view of Crowley Eusford's and his two nobles', Horn and Chess, backside. I take this chance and aim my two pistols at Horn and Chess's hamstring.
Peregurin, please go as fast as you can.
I shoot my hyper-speed bullets and it pierces through Horn and Chess's thigh, having them abruptly fall to their knees. At that exact moment, the Thirteenth Progenitor looks back and makes eye contact with me, who appears to seem surprised but also strangely amused with a tiny smirk on his face.
I run up another flight of stairs after exchanging a petrifying glance with Crowley Eusford. After years of combat, I can sense that he's extremely strong, not being a match for any of us despite being armed with Black Demon weaponry. Although I'm terrified of him, I'm hoping that he's pursuing me so that my squad can rescue everyone else.
I hide in a room with my back against the wall next to the door. I can't hear him nor can I feel his footsteps, but that look he gave me is telling me he'll come to find me. I gather my breath and thoughts, trying to keep calm and come up with my next plan of action.
"You know you can't really hide from vampires, right?" I hear from behind the door and a second after, he breaks down the wall. That wall crushes into shambles and I get a chance to genuinely feel his destructive presence and his towering figure.
In complete fear, I shoot at a pillar, giving myself time to flee to the floor below as the room collapses. I decide that my plan is to not have to confront this monster of a vampire because I will most likely die.
I run and I run, feeling like I'm being chased by a psycho serial killer in a movie. I look back to check if he was chasing after me, but he wasn't.
I let out a sigh of relief and look forward again.
"Looking for me?" He wields his sword, slicing the atmosphere in front of my face as I tumble backward in flight. If it wasn't for the years of training and gymnastics I practiced, my head would be on the ground about now.
I draw my pistols and aim it at his legs, "Peregurin!" I shoot my hyper-speed bullets again, piercing both of his thighs. But unlike Chess and Horn, he seems unbothered and still standing.
There's absolutely no way a Thirtheeneth progenitor can outstand my bullets.
"Ow! That actually kind of hurts." He chats, "is this another one of those Black Demon weapons?" He leisurely observes his wound that struggles to heal.
I took this chance to run up and slide tackle his somewhat damaged legs, knocking him off his feet and losing his balance. I position him under me and I aim my pistol at his forehead.
"I'm sorry.." I whisper to him as I pull the trigger.
