Chapter 9

I ended up not falling asleep so I decided to call Gabi

"Hey Gabi , I'm having trouble falling asleep"

"What's the problem , are you sick" she warily "no , no I'm just worried " I said "it's ok just close your eyes and think happy thoughts" Gabi said then hung up so I decided to listen to music and I went off to sleep from there I was off to sleep

.....I got up from my bed then walked out of my room and went down stairs I looked around then walked out the front door as I walked down the street I saw my mom crossing the road then the car hit her and I fell to my knees crying then the car came for me before I could move out of the way

"No!!" I quickly sat up on my bed and found Josie and Dan looking at me with worried faces "what happened Amy you were screaming" Josie said rubbing my tears

"It's fine just a mild headache" I said rubbing my head "well you two should get some sleep I'm perfectly fine"

"You are not fine Amy why don't you want us to help you" Dan said "yes Dan's right you're always helping us and you never consider yourself" Josie said in agreement

I pulled my knees to my chest and buried my head in it "please you guys should go to bed don't worry about me" then Josie made her way to the door "Amy whatever it is that's bothering you , please tell us we are family if not us then who " she said then left my room

I turned it Daniel "you should go to " but he shook his head "Amy I hate it when you kill yourself from within , tell me I'm your brother I deserve to know " he said almost crying "please Dan don't waste your tears on me , I'm fine and you need rest" I said then laid down and Dan went out of the room

I feel bad for my siblings , I just don't want them to worry about me , "please tell us we are family if not us then who" Josie's words ring in my head making a tear drop from my eyes

I remembered mom would say to us when we were little "the world's not perfect but if we have each other , nothing could go wrong " I heard her soft voice in my head

She said if we have each other and now she's gone fate why did we have to lose our mom

I feel terrible , my siblings are sad and I can't help them if I'm still struggling , I'm the worst sister

"Mom anywhere you are if you are hearing me i love you , we all do" I whispered sobbing and everything went dark

"Amy, Amy , please wake up" i gradually opened my eyes to be faced with Gabi and it looks like she is about to cry "Gabi what is the problem your about to cry , please tell me , everything is going to be better " I said Hugging her but she pulled back

"Amy I'm meant to be asking you that question , you compressing your sadness , I can help you " she said grabbing my hand but I stood up making her let go "they told you about last night right ,I just don't want to talk about it " I said turning around so she won't see my face . I really made them worried I just feel so bad

I felt Gabi hug me and rub my head gently "it's ok just cry , its ok just let it all out " and I'm crying so bad we knelt down on the rug just hugging "Gabi I was so scared I didn't want them to worry about me , and my dad isn't making anything better he's just sending us money , it's not like it can make any of us happy" she nodded showing that she was listening "I just miss her" I said letting out the last of the tears

"Amy it's ok I'm here " she said rubbing my back "thanks Gabi I feel much better , but I'm kinda hungry " the last part made both of us laugh "me too but I made breakfast , your favorite " I am probably grinning like a 6 year old

"Scrambled eggs , bacon and toast ,oh my gosh Gabi I love you" I said giving her a tight hug "I can't breathe Amy "she said pulling my arms "I'm so sorry let's go " I said getting up and quickly going to brush my teeth and run downstairs

When I reach the bottom of the stairs I was shocked to see Luke there

"What are you doing here" I said "sshhh I don't want to be heard " he whispered "uhm why are we whispering " I asked but he walked over to hide beside the stairs and I just look at him like he is crazy "Amy why are you looking like that " Josie asked from the stairs then Luke picked her up by surprise and spun her around

"Luke stop I'm dizzy" Josie screamed then Luke put her down and bent down to her level and handed her a package. it was wrapped with colorful wrapping paper

"Happy birthday Josie" he said hugging her " my birthday is tomorrow and you didn't have to get me a gift " she said "sorry for the mix-up but just open it "

Josie carefully opened it and when she saw the content she flew into Luke's arms "oh my gosh thanks so much , you are the big brother I never had" she said and we chuckled from the last part "hey what am I then " Dan asked gesturing to himself

"Stupid" I and Josie said in unison the Dan huffed and left the room "Luke thanks for the headphones I always wanted"

"It was no big deal" he said patting her head "but how did you know I wanted it " she said then I remembered my breakfast in the kitchen and Dan just went there so I ran to the kitchen and found my plate empty

"Amy I loved the bacon it was great " he said and got up "damnit Dan that was my breakfast" I practically yelled which sent Gabi ,Josie and Luke running into the kitchen then they started laughing

"Cool down sis it's just toast and some other things" he said then tapped my shoulder I then looked at his hand on my shoulder and looked him in the eye he was smirking

"That's it!!" I said then tackled him to the ground squeezing his neck hard "Amy I can't breathe " he said trying to push me off then I felt my self being lifted from him "let me go I'm not done with him ,he has to pay" I said struggling in Luke's grip around my waist "wow I never knew my sister was a maniac " Dan said rubbing his neck "says the person that runs away from a girl asking him out " I said and glared at him making Everyone laugh

"Amy that was a secret" he said and glared at me "at least I didn't almost kiss someone on the balcony" he said which made all gazes avert to me with questioning faces "I'm going to kill you Dan " I said and ran after him but I was spun around and came in contact with Luke chest he wrapped his arms around my waist "Luke let go of me " I said pushing him "who did you make out with on your balcony " he said and raised his eyebrow

"Come on please don't ask me that" I pleaded then he let me go and I went after Dan and found him in the corner of the living room with his knees hugged to his chest "you broke my heart " he said and looked away from me "I'm sorry but you nearly embarrassed me , do you know how they would feel if they found out I nearly made out with David "

"Oh my gosh Amy why didn't you tell me" Gabi said "I thought you would think I was stupid , but I later ended up losing feelings for him" I said giving her a warm smile and walking to the kitchen to grab something to eat so I settled on a peanut butter sandwich and went up stairs to get a shower

When I was done I went into my closet I dried my hair and put on some blue shorts and a black tank top and stepped out of my closet closing the door behind me and I saw Gabi on my bed "we need to talk " she said sternly and I went beside her on the bed

We talked for what felt like hours I found out she and Harry have a great relationship and we did our nails together mine were baby blue while hers were light red

Her and Ryan are the best friends I could ask for
