1979 - Lily's POV:

I shut the door behind us. "Lily, look.." Sev started off. "No, Sev." I cut him off. He looked surprised after I called him his old nickname. "I'm sorry, Lily. I-I was in love with you since we were little. But when these kids from the future came, I knew that you would never like someone like me." He said, hesitantly.

"Sev. You're right. I don't like you like that. But I do love you as my best friend. We used to be great friends until the incident." I said. He nodded. "I know. And I'm truly sorry Lily. I understand if you don't forgive me. I-I never should have called you that." He said. 

"Can we go back to being friends, Sev?" I asked, softly. He nodded and shook my hand. I pulled him in and gave him a hug. "I've missed you, Sev." I murmured. He pulled away and said, "Well, I should be leaving now. Goodbye, Lily." I smiled. "Goodbye, Sev." I replied.

Sev apparated away and I caught someone standing by the door. Just as they turned around, I caught a glimpse of their hazel eyes.

James.

He was the only one with those eyes. No, stop. Why are you thinking about James's eyes now?  You don't even like him! I told myself in my brain. I walked back inside as realization hit me. 

James must have seen me hugging Sev. I kinda had a tiny crush on him. James, I mean. I think he gave up on me, ever since I always told him no when he asked me out. But the only reason I said No, is because his ego would inflate bigger than the size of his head.

And, I didn't want to admit that I may like him.

 I knew that he wouldn't go to the kitchen, seeing as the whole Order was there. I walked to one of the bedrooms. Through a crack in the door, I saw James putting his belongings into his trunk. I opened the door and walked in. "James?" I asked. He froze and turned around. "Lily. What are you doing here?" He asked. "I saw you running away from the door after.." I trailed off. 

He sighed. "It's fine. I know you like him. I'm leaving. I need to go." He said, grabbing his bag. "James, are you mad at me?" I asked, grabbing his wrist. "No, Lily. Just... Why would you pick him? He's better than me? He isn't as arrogant as me?" He asked.

"What do you mean? I don't like Sev in that way. Why do you want to know so badly. It's not like you care." I defended. I saw a quick flash of hurt through his eyes, then replaced by anger. 

"How do you know? Do you know what it feels like to ask out the same person everyday and get rejected? Do you have feelings for someone who didn't love you back? Did you Lily?" He asks, pain and anger flashing through his eyes. 

"No. But why did you always try so hard? Why did you always go over the top, be all arrogant and big-headed?" I shot back at him. 

"Because I love you Lily! Because I always have and always will! You wouldn't understand. I'm sorry I ever bothered you." He says, his voice dying down to a whisper. 

"James," I say, desperately grabbing his hand. Millions of thoughts run through my head.

He loves me. He Loves Me. He LOVES ME! 

"James!" I urgently call out again. "Please, don't leave." I say. "Why? There's nothing for me here. The one person I love, doesn't love me back. Nobody needs me here. Why Lily?" He asks me. "Because," I said, pulling him closer to me. He drops him bag and faces me. "I need you." I said. 

A look of confusion is etched on his face as I pull him to me. Our foreheads touching. I stare into his deep hazel eyes and lean in.

He didn't pull away, and nor did I. The kiss only lasted for a blissful few seconds, but that was the best kiss of my life. "Lily," He murmured, playing with my hair. "Yeah?" I replied. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have gotten all mad at you." He said.

"I'm sorry too. I didn't know you loved me so much." I reply sadly. "Of course I did. Who wouldn't? You're smart, brave, kind, amazing, beautiful.." He says, counting them off on his fingers. I stopped him by kissing him again. 

"I've always wanted to do that." James says, tracing my face with his finger. "Do what?" I ask. "Kiss you." He says. I smile and grab his hand. "Your not going anywhere as long as your with me." I say. "Promise me. Promise me you won't ever leave." I say, sitting up.

"I promise." He replies. "We'll be together. Forever and Always." 

"Always." I echoed.

There's the update! I have been busy recently with homework and school, and I know that isn't an excuse. I will try to update more often. I'm also working on many WIPS or Works in Progress. Sorry, I haven't gotten any time. 

Also, do you guys want to see the characters of a movie/tv show watch their show and react to it? I've been reading a couple of those and wanted to try some myself. Let me know in the comments!
