It was a week till "V-Day" and everywhere Jinwoo went, there were hearts and balloons and everything painted red. Every year it was always this huge thing with couples and singles alike. Couples rejoice, and singles just try to ignore what was happening around them - or cupid would be setting them up . Jinwoo used to be single, but for many years now, he was thankful enough he could call someone his boyfriend and join in the worldwide fun.

But, it's been a week and his boyfriend has not said a word about anything for such celebration. Last time, MJ didn't waste any time and surprised him and asked him out for Valentine's day on the first day of February. As much as Jinwoo assumes they would be going out together, he still feels his heart flutter whenever MJ does something to ask him for the day. He wondered if MJ had just forgotten or maybe, he had something up his sleeve. Jinwoo just needed to be patient.

Jinwoo was not pouting. Really . He was definitely not . He fiddled with his keychain, one that - now that he remembered about it - he got from valentine's day two years ago. It was a puppy and a fox wrapped around each other with their tails entangled into a heart ("Because I'm always clinging on to you, Jinie.") and he frowned and flicked it on the table - the acrylic charm clattering noisily.

"Hyung! What's wrong? I know I asked you out for coffee because I need help for Sanha, but it looks like you yourself are having problems." Jinwoo looked up at a concerned Rocky. The younger rapper had called for an SOS because he needed help for valentine's day and it's only two days until then, and he still couldn't ask Sanha out - not without trying though, because every time he tries something always happens. "By the way, what's your plans for-"

"Nothing!" Jinwoo snapped. Being reminded that he didn't have any plans, made him cranky. And he almost felt guilty when Rocky looked taken aback, almost . But he couldn't care less, because he was feeling down and he had the right to be sad, dammit. "There's no plans."

"Uh? Really? I thought you and M-hyung-"

"MJ didn't ask me! For all I know, he might even break up with me!" Jinwoo was not whining and he definitely was not crying. Why the fuck was he even crying?

Rocky looked panicked, rising up from his seat hovering over Jinwoo. "Hyung?! Hyung don't cry!"

After that coffee fiasco, the two rappers went home. Both feeling defeated about the upcoming day of hearts. Jinwoo was now in bed, trying to sleep but failing. Aside from how Moonbin kept mumbling things about "plans" and "cancelled", his thoughts were still on Valentine's day and how he was dateless. What if Myungjun really is breaking up with him? He hadn't seen the older lately except when he comes home from schedules, tired and Jinwoo didn't have the heart to bother him and therefore let him be. But what if...

"Moonbin if you don't shut it, I'm shutting you up myself." Moonbin immediately quietened down, and Jinwoo sighed. "Sorry. My mind's a mess and you're mumbling isn't helping."

"Uh, are you okay hyung?" Moonbin's voice spoke in the dark.

"...go to sleep."

That night, Jinwoo didn't get a wink of sleep.

The next day was the same. Nothing happening. And when the day came, Jinwoo locked himself in his room with ice cream and movies. It's not like he had any plans. The rest of the members were out, or that's what he assumed. He didn't really know and he didn't really care. Moonbin was gone when he woke up, and the dorm was silent when he went out to grab tubs of ice cream.
