Chapter 12

'HANDS UP POLICE!' I immediately turn around. I look dazed. When everyone is pointing guns. Bates, Arrow, and Elijah, pulls me from my arm and we run through the corridors. 'THIS WAY!' Bates shout. 'Run! run!' 'STOP THERE!' We hear the polices shout and hear their footsteps running towards us. We sprint through the tiny corridors, secret ones. 'The ladder down here, Aiden, you go first.' I nod and immediately climb down as soon as possible. I look up and see them come right after me. The deeper we go the less we can breathe. 'quick! quick!' They say nervously. 'Guys calm down, we are going to make it.' As we come down and keep running through the secret caves. We finally arrive outside, exhausted. 'We'll meet up later at Thomas's.' I say exhausted and trying to catch my breath. 'Good luck... Take care.' We wish luck to each other. We run separate ways. 'You can do this, Aiden.' I whisper in myself. I feel tired, but if I get caught, i won't be able to see the sunlight. I keep running and running, it feels like hours, while it's just a 10 minute walk. I catch my breath and try to keep it up. I finally arrive in my hometown. While TJ, Adie,  Thomas runs up to me. 'Fuck! Are we fine?' Adie asks stunned. I look at them while feeling dizzy. I hold my knees, trying to catch my breath again. I feel the sweat dripping over my face. 'I- ... They f-find us. but h-how in the fuckin' world.' 'we just heard what happened' TJ says. 'I think they saw my face. I literally looked straight into their face of the door being smashed like that.' I say worried. I stroke over my hair. 'Ugh whatever.' 'Man, I think they already forgot by now, there were a lot of people.' 'true.' I nod. 

3 AM:

I softly lie down on my bank. I take my drugs and inject them once again in my veins. I feel my heartbeat in my head. I feel untroubled and informal. slowly I feel the pain fade away in my chest. When closing my eyes. I hear someone talk. Is It real? Is it there? In my head?

'JJ, DON'T TOUCH MY SON!' She sobs.

'I will murder him! I am going to take my biggest revenge on you.'

'JJ please don't.' she holds his face. 'Aiden is our only treasure.'

I look at them with torn eyes, watching how my dad holds my mom her hair tightly.

His veins, his face, full of anger. A lost man. I didn't know how to feel, sad for him, or just really scared for him being like this. Why is dad even doing this?

He slowly releases her hair from his hands. 'You married this guy, while you were in my hands. Ayla.. I loved you, Ayla! I gave you my GOD DAMN EVE RY THING.' He collects all his anger back up and take out his gun.

'JJ I beg!' She holds JJ his hands and his face at the same time. 'Please!?'

'He is your second treasure, but my first!' he points the gun on me. 'Aiden doesn't deserve.. To.. Live.. With you.. Ayla. What kind of a mother are you, Ayla! What are you going to say when Aiden grows up? Heh? I fucked with ANOTHER MAN WHILE I WAS WITH YOUR DAD? YOU GOING TO TEACH HIM TO BE A MAN LIKE THIS?'

At this point, I don't know who to believe in. My mother? Or my dad? Did they both never love me? Am I just a nothing to them? I looked scared to my parents. They are fighting with a gun, over me.. Who do I trust? Who do I talk to? Who do I believe? I am under a LOT of questions.

*BANG*

I immediately wake up from the nightmare I dreamt of.. I look at the time and it's 5 AM already. The thoughts are chasing me again. *sigh* 'Flashbacks never end.' I stand up, walk outside, and light my cigarette. It's dark, cold. The weather status, it looks like it's about to rain. I hold my phone, I get unsure about myself. Lara, I am about to call her but I am scared. I've hurt her, would she still love me? I press on the call button. My heart goes faster once I hear the phone ring. My temperature wins against the cold. Adrenaline and nervousness holds me warm.
