Karma sat at a table with Artoria, Arthur, and their father. Apparently he wished to meet the boy who was 'courting' his daughter. The way he said it had been careless. This man was sexist.

It put so many peices in place. If he hadn't agreed to help, it is entirely possible there would have been a forced wedding in the near future.

Arthur was the golden son who couldn't be more perfect. It made Karma glad that he turned out to be a good person. But the way that old man looks at Artoria, the way he speaks to her, nearly set Karma off.

The way he treated her wasn't anything like the way Harry's aunt had treated them. She was kind and cared deeply. Even though she was overseas, he was confident that she would always care.

"Uther Pendragon." He offered his hand.

"Karma." They shared a firm handshake.

"When did you start seeing my daughter."

He was being straightforward with every word he said. Karma didn't see the problem in doing the same thing.

"Last week. We met by chance during school." He said.

"What about family? You didn't mention a last name." He brought his hands together and rested his elbows on the table.

"Well... it's rather complicated." Karma rested his hands on the table, "I never really knew my parents, but I was adopted by the Frevant family."

Yes, Harry Frevant was his adoptive brother. Well, sort of. They were a talented family of mages. Something that was sure to catch his attention.

"Ah yes, the Frevant's." He said, "How is Freida?"

"She's fine. She's over seas right now, but I'm sure her work is almost done."

"Good to hear." He paused before bringing out a tablet with a video on it, "I've seen the footage of the recent cavalry challenge. I'm impressed you stood against such a powerful adversary."

"There was much to gain fighting someone who is as powerful as Gilgamesh." Karma nearly cringed at his own words, "I'm sure I would have lost without help in the end."

That wasn't a lie. He would have been a pin cushion without Shirou.

"I'm very interested in your abilities." The screen showed a yellow magic circle rotating behind Karma, "What, exactly, is this?"

"A technique I picked up in America. It was rather difficult to learn, and it's rather straining in the long run."

The next clip showed Karma using it to pin Gilgamesh and Enkidu down.

"And this?"

"Just a variation of the same technique."

Uther picked up the Tablet and scrolled until he found what he was looking for.

"Perfect grades and you're a top tier magus. You certainly are a valuable character." He seemed to be reading through his files, "Olga Marie speaks highly of you. As do your peers."

He continued to scroll through Karma's information from the school. It kinda made him nervous.

"What is it you plan to do when you graduate?" Uther set the tablet down.

"Continue my training at the Clock Tower in London. Isn't that what most mages want to do?"

"Very well... you have my blessing." He said, "please, enjoy yourself. It is a party after all."

Karma and Artoria walked out.

"I'm sorry." Karma's voice was quiet, "I didn't realize it was so bad. I treated it like a joke."
