Karma woke from his dreamless sleep. His alarm was blaring out its noise, which annoyed him. He smashed the snooze button and stood from his bed. He stretched out then threw on his school uniform. He left the jacket unbuttoned as well as the top botton on his shirt. It gave him a rather careless look.

He made it down stairs and headed towards the kitchen. Quickley eating breakfast, he headed out towards school. Harry quickly catches up to him.

"You just going to leave me?" He sounded tired and even yawned after speaking.

"You can handle yourself." Karma replied.

Both boys walked on towards the school in silence, until they arrived at the front gate.

"I need some caffeine so I'm going to the vending machines. I'll see you in class." Harry left Karma on his own.

Karma moved towards his classroom. Outside the room a large crowd was gathered around two students. Gilgamesh and Shirou Emiya. Of course those two are fighting. They always are. Karma pushed his way through the crowd towards his two classmates.

"Don't you two ever get tired of this?" He asks. The crowd begins to step back, knowing Karma's involvement might mean violence. "I mean seriously. This is a constant thing. What are you even arguing over?"

"What does it matter? What right do you have to demand things from me, mongrel?" Gilgamesh was arrogant as always.

Karma stepped forward with a grin on his face.

"Oh? You really want to speak down to me? Let's see how long that lasts." His voice was calm and mocking, angering the blond boy beyond belief.

"What did you just-" The king of heroes didn't get to finish as the bell rang.

"Why don't you get to class before the teacher gets here. It's your excuse to run away." Karma was almost laughing now, and everyone held their breath.

Gilgamesh made several angry noises, but leaves nonetheless. Karma walks into his class with his classmates behind him. Luckily Gilgamesh was a year above them.

"How do you just say things like that to someone like him?" Emiya sat next to him, clearly frustrated with their Gold haired senior.

"Because I have the strength to back it up. He can try and threaten me all he wants. I know he's strong. And he knows I am too." Karma's response was calm. He sat back in his chair and and relaxed.

"So you intentionally picked a fight with him? You put yourself in the spotlight and made him forget about me." Emiya was a kind boy, of course these are the questions he is asking.

"Don't mix up my motivation. I did it because I wanted to. Because I thought it would be fun. Not because I wanted to help you." Karma explained his reasoning, "what were you arguing over anyway."

Shirou blushed and turned away. It made it simple for Karma to poke fun at his acquaintance.

"Oh. Was it a girl? Maybe that Artoria girl you're always around? Or maybe Rin Tohsaka?" His face held an evil grin as he spoke quietly.

"What of course not!" He yelled, gaining the teachers attention.

"Are you done interrupting class yet, Mr. Emiya?"

"Yes of course." Shirou put his head down and remained like that for a while. He could hear Karma's quiet laughter.

"Your bad at lying, you know." Karma whispered. Emiya just groaned and remained in his position.

The rest of class was quite boring. All simple stuff that Karma didn't even need to study. He nearly fell asleep before the bell rang signaling the lunch brake. He got up and headed up towards the roof, where he tended to eat lunch.
