-----Jade mountain academy, sunrise-----

=No ones pov=

Amber and Devil stand, hiding behind a boulder near the infamous peaceful school of JMA (Jade Mountain Academy), staring down on the arriving dragons.

“Why are they making a school on a mountain and not a more accessible place?” Devil pondered aloud, looking at all the SkyWings who could be a problem for him and his best friend.

"What are we doing anyway?" Amber asked the dragon next to him.

“To see if its a decent idea to enroll, could be interesting,” The meteor dragon states, not taking his eyes off the landing pad, until his eyes cross the SeaWing royalty, "never thought I would see the SeaWing royalty leave their kingdom."

"You'll have to explain everything about the other tribes to me later." Amber said, annoyed at his lack of knowledge about the world he was dropped into.

“I could tell you the basics of every tribe now if it would help.” he offers, knowing that he could offer some answers, after all he has much blood from all tribes on his talons.

"Yes, I think that would help quite a bit," Amber answered.

‘’Well, SkyWings are usually itching for a fight, or being a bunch of big a*s holes, SandWings are always being smartasses and their tails pack quite a sting, most MudWings are loyal beyond belief to their friends and allies, IceWings have egos the size of my wingspan and then some, and are as cold as their breath, SeaWings are hard to describe, if I had to call them something, I would say shy but loyal, NightWings are cunning 9 times out of 10 and also have huge egos, RainWings are quite simple, the only thing to take note of is their camo, but you shouldn't worry about that, but worry more about their projectile venom, it stings more than my hugs.’’ he explains, joking at the end, while following the royalty with his eyes, eventually noticing one of those damn dragonets, earning a barely audible growl from him.

"What is it?’’ Amber whispered to his friend.

‘’Don't worry, just an old acquaintance I’d rather avoid as much as possible.’’ he says, lightly burning the rock they are hiding behind, and making a small smoke pillar curl around his horns.

"Tell me later?" Amber asked Devil wanting answers, but not wanting to overstep his boundaries.

‘’Yeah, it's a bit personal, I'll deal with it later.” Devil said, taking deep breaths while moving to the front of the rock, preparing to take flight.

"What are you doing?" Amber asked worried that his new friend was about to get himself in trouble.

“Just seeing if we could enroll, but also giving them a scare just for the Hell of it.’’ he says with a sneer, rubbing his talons in an ‘evil’ way.

"Okay" Amber said, coming up beside Devil.

He then as stealthily as he could (not at all) lands on the landing pad, scaring half of the crowd, while the others are mixed between angry, surprised, or worried, with Tsunami walking up to him with a face of caution and suspicion.

Amber put all blades but his hidden ones on the ground. "We don't want any trouble ma’am." he said with respect bowing to the SeaWing standing in front of him, and Devil raising his exposed right talon, his armoured one staying on the ground and smiling smugly, though inside he was resisting the urge to reduce her to nothing but a heavy pile of ash, bones and blood.

‘’Why are you here Toasty, to burn all our hard work to the ground? Or to turn Starflight into an overcooked sheep?’’ she sneered, venom laced in every word, while widening her wings in a show of intimidation.

"We are here for nothing of the sorts," Amber said, trying to calm her down. "We are actually trying to find education." he said truthfully.

‘’You see, I'm trying to find a way to help the citizens of Pyrrhia with ability, while educating my friend, who had an accident and can barely remember his own name, speaking of which, Amber meet Tsunami, Tsunami, meet my friend Amber, also hello to you too, how are the others?" he says as gentle and kind as he could muster, trying to sound peaceful.

"A pleasure to meet you, Tsunami." Amber said in greeting, receiving only a nod from Tsunami, before they heard an excited shriek, coming from youngest SeaWing princess, Auklet.

“Whoa, cool cool cool!’’ she yells pointing at Devil and Amber.

"And who is this little one?" Amber asked, making sure to stay far away from the new dragons.

‘’My little sister and friend Auklet, say hello Auklet,” she tells him and Devil, while taking Auklet from Queen Coral, ‘’Don't let that SeaWing killer near Anemone or I will pull her out of this school.’’ the queen said in Tsunami’s ear in a hushed tone.

Unbeknownst to them, Amber heard her and was unhappy with the amount of distrust his companion was receiving. I'll ask him later, he thought.

‘’So what do you say TsuTsu? Will ya give me and my mysterious friend a chance?” Devil says with a desperate smile, and offering her a talon to shake.

"Fine," the princess said reluctantly, still suspicious of the duo in front of her, “BUT, if you harm a student, you are gone. Go talk to Sunny to get registered.’’ she said ignoring his talon.

“Fine, be that way, how rude. Well Amber, time for education, and remember what I said about the tribes.”

"Okay, but you're going to have to lead me around to make it believable." he whispered to his companion.

Devil replied with a chuckle, “Of course, but I won't drag your tail ALL the time for your information.”

    "Okay, okay." Amber said laughing.
