⇢ Chapter 24.
It's been three months since Eri has been living with Enji and even though it's been nice since the boys are always coming over, but Eri just wanted to be home. She missed her family so much, and she misses Shota the most... Eri has been having her visits with Chaiki, she hates having to see Chaiki, he tries to be nice but Eri knows he acting. She accidentally spilt water on him and he yelled, making her jump. He played it off like it surprised him, but Eri knew he was angry.
One day — it wasn't a good day for Eri — she missed Shota and want to go home, Chaiki sees that she was being even more distant. Chaiki was getting more and more agitated with Eri but kept it together. After every meeting, he would rant about it to Kurono who would just listen then after would make Chaiki feel better, the only way Kurono knows how to.
Helping Chaiki release his frustration through sexual release. The two has been in a "relationship" for a few years, Kurono knows how much Chaiki loves to play around, some times, he would join as well, but he holds the pleasure of knowing he is the only one to ever have Chaiki beneath him. That's a side of him he will never allow anyone to see.
Meanwhile, during Shota's visits, Eri was so happy, it was the highlight of the week; seeing her real family. Sometimes, Hitoshi would go and see her, they've been writing letters to each other, she would bring letters during the meeting but other times Deku would drop off the letters for her and she would send them back with either Deku or Shoto.
The hardest part is when it was time for Shota and Hizashi to leave. Eri would hate it, at first she would cry and hold onto Shota, but then she stopped doing that because she noticed Shota's sad and sickly look. She asked if he was okay but he always reassured her that he was fine and that it was just lack of sleep, "trying to finish the book!" is what he would always say.
She, also, noticed that he looked a little slimmer. Hizashi made sure to ease any worry Eri had, but she just couldn't help but worry. Eri has began sending letters to Touya, but he hasn't been writing her back. Hitoshi told her he would leave the letters but he hasn't seen Touya in a while even though Hitoshi has spoken to Touya. Eri thought maybe he's just busy with work, but Eri couldn't help but feel sad that he hasn't been writing to her.
Touya has been busy and he have seen the letters, but decided it was best not to answer them. He knew it would be used against Shota, so he told Hitoshi not to leave any more letters as he won't be home for while, so Hitoshi agreed. Hitoshi simply holds onto the letters until the day when Touya would ask for them.
Finally, it was time for everyone to go to court. This time, Eri was there as it was required for her to go, Eri sat on the side with Mirai while Enji, Rei, Toshinori, Inko, Nemuri, and Yuu were sitting behind Shota and Hizashi. Even Fuyumi and Natsu was there as they have grown attached to Eri. Natsu visited a lot more just to spend time with Eri.
Tensei was getting all his paper work ready when he noticed that Kurono has a witness listed. Before he could even ask Shota if he knew the person, the Judge came out and court began. However, as the court began, Tensei couldn't help but glance at the name that was listed. 'Who is this?' Sensei thought himself, slowly focusing back to the Judge.
