"Caspar?" I blurt.

I thought I'd never see this guy again.

"Hey! Are you... Perry Halls?" he says while sliding his finger down a page.

He finally looks up. His eyes widen as he stands up.

"Wait? You're the one from the beach! How are you?" he asks.

He abruptly gives me a hug without warning.

I awkwardly hug him back.

I feel even more awkward when I realize I haven't ever called him or texted him after he gave me his number.

"Yeah. That's me!" I force a laugh.

"Did that life guard thing work out?" I add.

"Not really!" he laughs.

I'm never really good with socializing. I mean, I'm a very upfront person, but first chats are usually not my specialty.

I sit down in an uncomfortable chair in front of his desk. I look at the clock.

3:24. Dammit.

"Sorry I'm late, I was-"

"You were with that guy with the crazy hair. I know. It's okay."

I shift uncomfortably in my chair and roll my eyes as he sits down.

We are off to a wonderful start...

"Uh, okay," I say. I guess he must me talking about Kian. I wonder if he likes him. It doesn't really seem that way.

"Well, shall we? Tell me about your problems."

I look down. I have too many problems to explain.

I don't really feel comfortable explaining my problems to a stranger which is exactly what I'm here to do.

"You know what, I have to pee,". I stand up and walk to the door.

I'll do anything to escape this. I've been here 2 minutes, not even, and I already want to leave.

"No you don't."

"Do you want me to pee on your floor?" I blurt.

"Sit down."

"No. I'm going to the bathroom. What's wrong with you?"

Damn what the hell is he doing. I mean I don't think it's that obvious that I don't actually have to pee. I don't know why he is being so bossy either... we aren't in school, we are in therapy.

"Perry, I'm not stupid. You can trust me. I know you are just going to call your little boyfriend and tell him to come pick you up, because you are uncomfortable right now, and you don't want to talk to me. Now sit the hell down and stop lying to me, you aren't off to a very good start."

Oh hell no. That's it.

I flip him off and open the door. I start running down the hall.

I can't believe he called Kian my boyfriend. Does it seem that way? Are Kian and I even dating? It seems like we are. I mean, if we aren't, we would have to be friends with benefits. I guess since we love eachother, we are dating. He hasn't officially asked me though.

What an asshole Caspar is. Who does he think he is? He's being so incredibly rude.

I dial Kian's number. He picks up after what feels like a million rings.

"I'm in the lobby," he rushes.

Damn he's good. How'd he know? Oh well.

I make it down the elevator, and frankly, I don't want to even be in this building ever again.

I step inside the elevator, and I'm happy when I see no sign of Caspar while the door is closing.

Kian is right outside of the elevator door when it opens.

He pushes me against the wall, and he is once again inches away from my face. His hands press mine against the wall, and the elevator door closes. His breath is warm, as it sends chills down my spine as usual.

"Kian!" I laugh. Wait, oh shit.

"Kian!" I then whisper shout.

The elevator might go back up to the floor now. Fuck.

"What?" he breathes against my neck.

He starts placing kissing all the way down to my chest, and I feel like I loose feeling of my body.

The elevator dings open, and there is Caspar, looking frustrated as ever.

"Perry! What the hell was that?" Caspar shouts.

Kian let's go of my wrists.

"Who's this?" Kian asks, looking back between Caspar and I. Kian is glaring at Caspar.

"An asshole," I truthfully remark.

Caspar scoffs, and a look of relief washes over Kian's face.

"We have an appointment to finish! We don't have time for this. I don't have time for this. Why are you with him? What the hell are you even doing? " Caspar asks me.

Kian shifts to Caspar's direction and takes a long step forward.

His fist connects to Caspar's chin.

Caspar returns a punch and hits Kian's lip.

"Fuck! Just stop it!" I scream.

I get between them two.

Luckily, they stop. I flinch when Caspar's fist is inches away from my face, about to punch me. I guess he was about to punch Kian again.

I turn around. Kian's lip is bleeding. I sigh.

I turn Kian around and we begin to start walking to the elevator.

"You deserve someone better!" Caspar shouts.

Kian turns around. He is about to spit harsh words as I speak up.

"Caspar. You just need to... stop," I say. I wish I said something more forceful, but I'm too distracted.

Kian and I once again turn around and enter the elevator.

Kian wraps his arm around my shoulder.

"She's mine, sorry," Kian smirks as the elevator closes, leaving Caspar standing there.
