My feet quietly tip toe down the stairs. The house is quiet.
All of my problems are cleared through my mind- I'm finally happy with my life. I'm with Kian, and I don't know where else I want to be.
I find myself in the kitchen, cooking breakfast for everyone. Suddenly, arms wrap around my waist.
"Good morning, baby," Kian whispers in my ear. The hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
I put the frying pan down and turn around. I press my lips on his.
He smiles into the kiss.
"You have flour on your cheek," he laughs.
I roll my eyes, and I can't help but giggle.
His thumb rubs it off gently, and even things like this makes my heart melt. Our lips connect again.
"Are we interrupting something?" Jc asks out of no where. Right next to him is the rest of the boys. They all have smirks on their faces.
I smile. "No," I say, making eye contact with Kian.
I tuck in my short hair behind my ears. My body turns back around and I put some plates on the table.
"Breakfast is served," I exclaim, proud of my work.
Everyone sits down, except for Kian. His arms wrap around my waist, then he grabs my wrist and pulls me out of the room. His eyes never leave mine.
My breathing deepens, and I'm kind of confused.
"What's wr-" I begin.
He smashes his lips against mine. "Last night was amazing," he states. Hell yeah. "It was," I reply. The memories flood through my mind, and I have no regrets.
We begin to kiss again, suddenly interrupted by a loud knock at the door.
Hm, wonder who it is. Kian's smile fades. What?
Kian walks quickly to the door and tells me to stay. Obviously I don't... that's just who I am.
He opens the door.
"Kian! Why weren't you answering your phone. Gosh you can be a pain in the ass sometimes," a girl says. My brain is scattered with thoughts.
What's happening?
Who is she? Why is she here? Why does she know where Kian lives? How does Kian know her. Have they hooked up?
Kian's shoulders tense up. He is looking back at me.
"You should go eat some breakfast," he orders with a smile.
My heart drops. Oh no. "Kian," I begin.
The reaction of the girl is unreadable, and I don't know what to think.
"Kian! Is this your girlfriend? You didn't tell me you had a girlfriend!" the girl half yells.
Kian makes eye contact with me again. "It's not... I can explain, I promi-" he starts.
"Just, stop," I push out. Wow, I'm a wimp. I remember when I was confident when I spoke, and now Kian manages to push me down until I can't speak.
"So I'm guessing she doesn't know about the other day?" the girl questions. She has a wicked smirk on her face.
"What about the other day?" I ask Kian. My vision is starting to get blurry with the tears in my eyes. I squeeze my hand to try and keep the tears from falling.
"A few weeks ago... when you were mad at me, I drank too much, and I went to a club. I met Zoe and we... hooked up," he admits. He spit it out quick.
My mouth closes. Oh. The silence is deadly, and Kian is staring at me as if he has seen a ghost. He drops to his knees. "I'm so sorry! You are the only girl-"
"Save it," I snap. My feet carry me out of the door, and I make eye contact with Zoe while I'm exiting. I feel a tear slowly trickle down my cheek, and it finds it's way to my lips. The salty taste is not too foreign, considering my life is basically a never ending misery story where every chapter includes tears.
I look in front of me and wipe the tears off my face. I knew this was a bad idea; staying with Kian. I should've never come running back to him. Of course I was so desperate to have something, anything, in my life that would make me a tiny bit happy. The only weird part is that I'm not always happy with Kian.
My feet carry me down the street, walking cautiously on the side walk. Of course at this moment, I have no where to go. Kian hasn't even come running after me like I expected.
A little piece of me hoped he would. I pick up my phone and dial Emma's number. Oh, right. I can't call her. The tears flood down my face before I realize that someone's trying to get my attention. I snap out of my little sorrow sesh and look over to a car that has stopped next to me.
"Hey! Are you okay? You look so sad," an attractive boy states. Yeah, I'm perfectly fine...
I wipe the tears off my face quickly. "Yeah I'm fine. Please, don't worry about me."
Frankly, I mean that. He doesn't even know me. Plus, I shouldn't tell him anything; I've learned from previous events that just because a boy is attractive, doesn't mean they won't hurt you. Unfortunately.
He parks his car on the curb and hops out of his car. He looks about my age. I take some steps back, I need to be more careful after what Kian put me through. He reaches to put him arm around my shoulder, but I quickly step back some more.
"I promise, I'm not a rapist," he chuckles. He reaches his hand out. "Dave. Dave Franco."
I shake his hand. When our skin touches, I totally forget about how sad I am. A smile creeps onto my face. I don't know what's happening, but it's like he automatically makes me happy. Just looking at him puts me in a good mood.
"Are you okay? Seriously, you look so sad. I know we don't know eachother, but I couldn't let a pretty girl like you look sad," he explains. I am probably blushing so hard.
"Thank you," I reply. "I'm Perry. Perry Halls"
"Do you want to walk somewhere? I hope I can cheer you up," he smiles.
How sweet. "Uh, sure! Let's go to the park, I guess?" I offer.
"Cool. I'll try and remove all sadness," he says. His smile is beautiful, and he is so damn gorgeous. I don't know if he's going to try and make a move, but I'm way more careful now.
We walk to the park in a deep awkward silence, but I don't really mind it. It's probably about 12:00 right now. A finally, we make it.
We sit on a bench, not too close, but not far away from each other.
"Hey, can I ask you something?" he asks.
"We're all ears," Kian says from behind us.
