review - i figured i'd start this book off by reviewing my favorite horror movie of all time. this film literally has it all. the actors are incredibly talented, the script is well written, the directing is superb, and the story is so addictive that it holds your attention throughout. this is easily one of the most rewatchable films i own, and i feel its an essential watch for any film fan, horror or not. hannibal lecter is such a smartly written character that you really never know if you can trust, making him easily one of my favorite cinematic villains ever. you've probably heard quotes from this movie even if you don't know the source material. i actually have a poster for this film on my wall, and i plan to upgrade my bluray to criterion as soon as i can. please check this movie out!
my rating - 10/10
note - (please correct any spelling/grammar mistakes you see, even though i proofread this i might've missed something!)
