physic (Loki)

Everything was quiet- a rare occasion in the palace at Asgard. You were asleep and deep and horrible dream. You dreamed that Loki had been stabbed and left on the floor to die and you had just walked in and seen it- they began to chase you and as they approached you awoke. You jumped up and looked around with tears filling your eyes. You and Loki had been close for many years now and if not for him you'd be stuck with the ruins of your home in Asgards city instead of living in the palace. Loki was the only one to ever show kindness to you before he introduced you to his family and they were happy to let the young physic stay.

You stood up and walked to the window to look out at the gardens. You loved the gardens, all the flowers and beautiful statues usually brought a smile to your face but the thought of losing your best friend was too heartbreaking. Then you thought to herself for a minute, still in tears before thinking that this may have been a vision. It wasn't often that they happened but you could have had a vision of what was happening to Loki with your physic powers. You ran as fast and quietly as possible down the hall to Loki's bedroom and pushed the door open. He wasn't there and your breath got heavier as you began to panic.

Then you had an idea to check the other places he went in the palace because you wouldn't be going to sleep until you knew your best friend was ok. You checked the gardens and the library twice each for a long time and became more and more worried by the minute. Over an hour had passed of searching pretty much everywhere before you gave up. You sat down against a wall at the library and cried. 'He's gone' You thought over and over again. 'He's gone and he isn't coming back.'

Suddenly, the noise of her cries was interrupted by a voice. "Is someone there?" A familiar voice asked. You recognised it immediately and stood up trying to fight back her tears. You ran as fast as you could to and hugged Loki as tightly as you could. "What's wrong Y/N?" He asked and you tried to calm your tears to talk. "I had a dream that you had died and I was gonna die. I thought it was a vision... I searched everywhere and I couldn't find you. Where were you?" You asked. "I couldn't sleep so I decided to take a walk through Asgard- I'm fine, nothing happened." He replied.

You burried your face into him as the tears continued to fall down your face. "It's fine, neither of us are going to die. I promise." He planted a gentle kiss on your head and you smiled through the tears. "Y/N I love you and I swear that I won't let a soul hurt you." Loki took you back to your room and you managed to calm yourself down and eventually fell to sleep. Loki sat beside you until he was certain that you were asleep and then he went back to his own room and thought about you for a while and after a while fell to sleep himself.
