Escape (Loki)

It had taken a long time but you had finally done it. You and Loki had been insepperable since you were children and for years now had been madly in love with one and other. He had been in prison for some time now and you knew you had to rescue him.

After a lot of planning, you snook down to the cells where he was imprisoned. He saw you and smiled before you held a finger up to your lips showing him that he needed to be quiet. He obeyed you and you managed to unlock his prison. He walked out and pulled you into a kiss. The moment could have lasted forever but then you realised that the second someone realised he was missing they would come looking.

You were the first to pull away and you whispered, "We have to go." Before bringing him up the stairs. You managed to escape the palace before anyone saw you.

Unfortunately, your luck ran out shortly after when some guards saw the two of you sneaking through the city. They had weapons in their hands and started charging towards the two of you. You ran as fast as you could but and they weren't far behind.

Your legs began to feel tired but you had to keep going for him. They were throwing their weapons at you and each one missed both of you for a very long time.

You looked over to him as you ran until you felt an unbearable pain in your back. Blood started to fall down your legs and you dropped to the floor. Loki was quick to notice this and fell to his knees beside you. A large sword had impaled you. Loki held you close to him on the floor, "Y/N, don't leave me." He whispered as a tear left your eye.

"I'm sorry." You whispered back, "Keep going." You continued. You were determinued that he would be able to escape alone even if it meant leaving you there to die. "I won't leave you." he said and the blood spilled all over him. You tried to talk but failed. They were getting closer and closer by the second and he would soon be caught.

You felt your eyes begin to close and Loki started to cry out, "Don't leave me." And you lifted your hand onto the one he rested on your stomache before you couldn't keep your eyes open for a second longer.

Tears fell from the asgardians cheek and the guards finally arrived. They dragged him back to asgard and left you there. He cried and tried to break free from them but it was too late- you were dead.
