"What the fuck are you doing?"
This question was asked to Remus frequently, and normally by everyone except Janus, though, it was always a valid one. No one except Janus could understand what Remus did. But today, he was exceptionally quiet, left to argue with the thoughts and compulsive actions on his own. Until, of course, Janus had walked into his room.
"I'm being a good boy." He replied, a suggestive smirk on his face, and he smirked as the right side of Janus' face went red. He started laughing, despite not exactly wishing to. As always though, Janus didn't do anything except smile.
"I couldn't only dream," His smile turned to a smug smirk, leaning against the door, "What aren't you actually up to?"
Remus didn't answer off the spot. He stayed quiet. Janus would know if he lied, so what if he hadn't told the whole truth? He could say he was thinking. But the reason Janus had even liked him (tolerated him) was because he was honest, right? He looked up, Janus wouldn't mind if he lied once, right?
"I was thinking, Snake-Face!" He squealed out, stretching up so you could see his small pack of pudge forming under his shirt. Janus smiled, He hadn't know that Remus was withholding crucial information. Not that Remus felt it was necessary to tell Janus everything.
"No? 'bout what, Tentacle-Boy?" He made sure to watch Remus' behavior, something he'd been trained to do at this point. Remus was a rather 'straight forward' guy, unless you actually spent time with him- that's when you realize it's actually not that simple. Remus wasn't normal, anyone could see that, and that was something Janus liked about him. He was Different and very Honest. Remus messed with a hair-tie he'd left on his wrist, and he stared at the ground, frowning. He stayed quiet; Silence- such loud silence- it made Janus shiver. How did Remus sit like this all morning? "'Mus?"
"Nothing particular," He forced out. Janus tensed up extremely quickly.
Remus just lied. Right to his face.
Why?
"Jay?" Remus had turned to face him, that's when he realized he hadn't said anything for a good bit. But he didn't understand why.
"Remus- you-you didn't lie to me," Janus let out a breathy laugh, staring down at his 'friend'. "Right?"
Remus looked a little stunned, and regained his composure, "Well, I lied cause thinking about fucking and cutting out people's tongues isn't too important, hm?"
Again?
"Fine," He spat, an annoyed expression fixing itself on his face, "Don't tell me the truth."
Remus looked a bit taken back before quickly shaking his head and breathing out heavy and grabbing for Janus' arm, "JJ, don't-"
"Do keep touching me," He hissed, a sour sound in his tone, "Please."
He let go almost as if he had no choice. Was that necessary? "Janus I-I can explain-" He moved towards the door without a word, Remus following behind like a lost puppy. "PLEASE!" It made him quit moving, Remus moved infront of him, eye's darting back and forth frantically (as if things were there). "I-I wanted to l-listen to them for once."
"Who?"
"The things in, out, up, and down!" Remus' pupils swirled, and he motioned to the air and his head. "And it may not have been tongue's and fucking, but I don't think you'd really care about them."
He sighed and pulled him in for a hug, frowning in disappointment. "Remus you're an absolute Genius, you know. I don't care about you."
"Yeah, yeah," He laughed, "Don't get all sappy on me, JD (Wow.. Janus Deceit and Heathers)."
"I hate you, 'Mus."
"I love you, too, Jan'.." he mumbled digging his face into the nape of Janus' neck.
