It all started when I was a kid, you see although we 'Anirians' were all peaceful and stuff that doesn't mean there weren't any bullies or people who called you freak just because you were different from everyone else, for I was the only known 'Anirian' to have powers at that time and also because of my weird blue stripes, I was a freak, the only people who saw the good in me then were my family.
"Jet!" My mom called from the kitchen "wake up honey or you'll be late on your first day of school!",
as I woke up I shot off into the bathroom at superspeed to brush my teeth and fur then sped into the kitchen to meet my mom,
"awwwn come on mom! I don't wanna go and you know I don't have to!" I exclaimed,
My mom who was a regular white tiger with black stripes turned to me from the grill and said "jet elas you go get your backpack and head of to school right now"
"Grrrrrr" I growled as I walked away from the kitchen table towards the living room slouching with my ears down and my tail dragging on the floor,
"Whoa young man what's up with that face?" My dad asked once he saw me
"I don't wanna go to school and mom's forcing me!" I replied,
My dad who was a regular tiger with orange fur and black stripes picked me up in his arms and said "I know right? Ugh women!" And we both laughed "but you know it might not be all that bad, just be yourself and it'll be alright" he said which made me feel better since I've always been worried of embarrassing myself in front of others especially on first occasions
"Ok dad I'll try" I said as I leapt out of his arms and landed on my feet "I'll try to get get along"
"Pfft try? Why can't you be more like your sister? She's more excited about going to school" my mom said as she came out of the kitchen with two lunch bags and handed one of them to me "jetna! Come out honey!"
At that moment a red blur shot out from inside the house and bounced rapidly around the living room before stopping in front of mom "weeee! School time!" My twin sister jetna said as she collected the second lunch bag from my mom, jetna was just like me but with red stripes and she was more hot tempered and naive.
"Excited? She believes in anything! She believes that today will go well when I'm fated to be laughed at and bullied!" I exclaimed
"Now now son everything thing will be fine don't you worry" my dad assured me as he patted me on the head,
"Yeah now take your lunches and head off to school" my mom said as she kissed me and jetna on the forehead'
"Mmmmm" I grumbled
"hey jet race ya" jetna said smirking
"Hell no!" I said as we both shot out of the house together towards school at superspeed leaving a wake of wind and dust behind us.
