JET THE WHITE TIGER

A NEW FAMILY

"NOOOOO!" was all I could say as my home was reduced to dust and ash, it was after that moment that my powers gave in.
"No! No! No!" I cried as I stopped in front of the pile of dust, rubble and ash I once called home, nothing made sense anymore, maybe jetna managed to save them maybe she escaped before the lighting hit but I knew it was pointless my family was just blown up by a stray lighting bolt before my eyes, as tears streamed down my eyes I thought 'was the lighting bolt actually stray? Why was at it that particular time my powers failed me? Why did the metal hedgehog leave the house just before the lighting struck? Why was he watching me at school earlier that day?' My mind was overrun with emotions and questions mostly anger hate and regret, if only I had gone with jetna to save the city she'd still be alive now......or I too would be dead but the pain didn't make me think straight, then I looked up at the aircraft,
"This is all your fault!" I roared as my claws extended, I went down on all fours and ran faster than I've ever run before, the blip was in the air and I was on the ground but the anger and pain made getting up to it a breeze, I went up the side of a skyscraper so fast that on reaching the top I leaped off  and the force caused all the glass on the building to shatter, landing on another building much taller than the first I leapt into the air grabbing the tip of its left wing, as I pulled myself up what I saw wasn't what I expected, from below it looked like a bronze metal blimp with wings like that of an airplane's but now that I was on it, it looked different, try to imagine a blimp that was sliced in half horizontally so that it could have a straight surface then on that surface were a lot of weird stuff like large mutated reptiles twice my height carrying materials to and fro or the way the entire surface was filled with weird machinery, robots and nukes, I looked around for anywhere a control room should be, I was gonna bring this stupid flying fortress down for messing with my life
"You're going down hard" I said in anger, as I walked onto the ship the alarms blared and all the mutants looked towards me 'get him!' or 'how did you get up here?' or 'what the heck?' was what I expected anyone of them to say but they all just snarled and ran towards me, their eyes all looked like that of the metal hedgehog's, white and cold so I thought he was probably one of them or they were like him but no electricity, lighting or metal suit or any powers at all, these guys just moved like mindless zombies but I couldn't confirm that, I couldn't confirm anything I was so confused and angry,
"Arrrrgh!" i slashed through all of them within seconds before thinking,
'What the heck did I just do?!' I thought  'I just killed a bunch of dudes without thinking it through!'
At that moment the bodies started bleeding.......but it wasn't blood it was thicker, mossy and GREEN?! that clinches it! these dudes weren't anirians, at least not normal ones, next the robots charged at me, they were anoid (meaning they looked like anirians in shape), disposing the robots was a easier decision to make than the mutants, next i ran around the whole ship looking for the control room but it turns out the control room was no room at all, it was a much larger mutant but with robot parts.....a cyborg mutant and its entire body controlled the ship, as it emerged from the brig the blimp went higher,
"Who comes up with all this?" I mused as I charged the mutant, all it had to do was dodge and it would throw me overboard because the entire ship moved with its body movement but that didn't matter, I had superspeed........unfortunately for me it caught me.
"What  the?!" I yelled as the ship came to a halt "let me go!",
But the mutant slammed me against the floor and the ship pummeled downwards,
"grrrrrr" I felt sick, I could run as fast as I wanted all day but me staying on a fast falling airship was a bad idea, I grabbed the foot of the mutant and kicked upward hitting it in the face, thank heavens the mutant's robot feet had strong grips on the ground if not I'd have been tossed off the ship like a stone in a slingshot as the ship threw a back flip midair,
"This isn't working for me" I groaned holding my gut together "urgh!" I muttered getting dizzy, the mutant tried to stomp me down with its right foot but I let go and grabbed the deck of the ship with my claws, the mutant probably noticed I didn't like the rapid movements of the ship and willed the ship to rotate horizontally really fast like a giant Frisbee, I had to use all my strength to keep holding on and take the pounce position of a regular predator, the spinning of the ship was giving me an headache and turning my intestines around, I focused on the mutant who was now walking towards me slowly, my muscles tensed and I lunged at the mutant ripping its head off with my claws, the ship stopped spinning and at that moment it was really high up in the air as started to fall towards the city but at that moment I was so dizzy and weak that i collapsed for some seconds before staggering up again,
"Ugh..... jet think fast act fast unless you wanna become roast pancake" I said before I started to dismantle the ship at super speed ripping apart giant cogs, nuts and bolts, separating parts and wholes as the ship rapidly pummeled downwards, parts started coming off as I unworked the ship, I cut the fuel tank open so that the fuel could pour out midair to reduce the risk of an explosion, it was crazy zipping around the ship as a neon blue ball of lighting as the ship came apart slowly, I didn't know if I was running faster than I was thinking or thinking faster than I was running all I knew was that I had to bring this stupid flying fortress apart and finally with the pull of a single wrench the whole ship came apart, I ran from piece to piece dodging midair debri as the ship crashed into the city, I jumped off the wrecked piece of the left wing crashing through the windows of a wrecked building, I landed hard on the floor falling unconscious.
Moments later a familiar voice called "Jet?! Jet! Wake up! Are you OK?!"
"Urgh!" I groaned opening my eyes to see smart shaking me up "ugh dude did I fall asleep in class? I had the weirdest dream where the city was under attack by a flying blimp"
"You didn't fall asleep jet....... It was all real" he said looking away ".......it was all real" as a tear rolled down his cheek
"Oh" I said looking around to find that there were others in the room.......many others but this wasn't the same room or building I crashed into earlier
"Your sister moved us all here before leaving...... But she never came back" grey said from a corner behind me
"She's dead" I said as tears streamed down my eyes "and it's all my fault! I should have gone with her......"
"And you would have died too!" smart interrupted "we too would have died! You can't blame yourself........you saved us all after all"
"What do you mean?" I asked
"We all saw you take out that airship" grey replied "we......owe you our lives" he said with his ears down "smart brought you back here after you fell"
"Thanks.......buddy" I said
"Its.....okay" he said sniffling
"What's wrong?" I asked
"We all lost something today, for him it was his little sister...... The only family he had left" grey replied
My emotions drowned and at that moment I decided to stand up, i walked over to smart and hugged him
"I'm not gonna hide my powers anymore but I'll use them for the good of everyone everywhere " I said "there's another blimp headed here at least three times bigger than the first and I'm gonna need all the help I can get...... Anyone up for it?" I asked
Some murmurings and hesitations came up then the person I least expected to say anything.......
"I'm in" grey said "it's the least I could do for you for saving my life from school" he smirked
"Count me in too" smart said "whoever it is behind all this is gonna regret taking my sister from me"
After that everyone went silent
"Alright guys....." I was saying before someone else interrupted
"I'm in too" the person said, it was a female's voice "those jerks took something from me too"
"Great" i said as i turned around to find myself staring eye to eye at a female cheetah with red long hair,
"The name's Isabelle but you can call me Izy"
"Great and you can call me jet" I said to her smiling, then I walked to the closest window overlooking our once beautiful city "this is the start of something new" I said.
