Wooyoung woke up in a room, slowly opening his eyes, his vision blurry, 'Where am I?' He saw a blurry figure next to him, the figure standing up and hovering over him. Wooyoung's vision cleared and realized it was the guy who broke up the fight. His eyes were now fully open and you could see annoyance in his eyes.

"How are you feeling?" The guy asked, a clear worried look on his face.

"Who are you?" Wooyoung asked ignoring the guy's question, "And why did you break up the fight. Do I know you?"

"I'm San, Choi San, and no, you don't know me. I broke up the fight because I was tired of seeing you get beat up.." San said, answering all his questions calmly. Wooyoung looked at him bewildered, before Wooyoung could say anything, San asked again, "How are you feeling?"

"I-I'm feeling fine.." Wooyoung mumbled, trying to sit up, before feeling a jolt of pain in his lower back. San made him lay back down, noticing the latter was in pain.

"From what I see, you're not.." San raised an eyebrow, "Lay down, and rest, you're badly hurt.." San smiled softly, his soft curly hair, falling on his eyes gracefully. Wooyoung blushed slightly before scoffing, 'Why am I blushing? All he did was smile'

"Why are you doing all this?" Wooyoung began, "You don't even know me. Where even are we?" He looked around and noticed it wasn't the infirmary of the school, it didn't even look like the school. His eyes widened, 'Oh God, did he kidnap me?'

"Before you get any bad ideas, I did not kidnap you," San said as if he had read Wooyoung's mind, "I brought you to my house because it was the end of the day, and I didn't want to leave you in the infirmary, so I brought you with me.. It was hard because you're heavy, and because it was difficult to walk home with an unconscious person.." San laughed quietly, "I had to tell people you were drunk and had passed out so they wouldn't stare at me.."

"Uh uhm... thank you for that... I guess," Wooyoung mumbled the last part, slightly flustered at what the other had to go through just to take him home, "But you didn't answer my question, why did you help me? Why did you bring me into your home knowing I'm a stranger.." Wooyoung questioned, feeling awkward as he was laying down. San smiled, his dimples showing, and Wooyoung's heart beating slightly faster at it.

"I told you already.. I was tired of you getting beat up almost everyday.." San said, "I don't like seeing people fighting and no one doing anything about it. As creepy as it sounds... I would watch you sometimes, and noticed that you were usually lonely... and.. sad.. I don't like to see people sad.." San looked down, too embarrassed after what he confessed to the latter. Wooyoung looked at him in disbelief, not sure of what he just heard.

"So you did all this because... you don't like seeing people getting in fights and, because I'm.. lonely and sad?" Wooyoung sat up and questioned, San nodded, looking at him, "So... basically you pity me?" He pointed at himself, the other's eyes widened and shook his head.

"N-no I-"

"You don't need to deny it, and I'm sorry but I don't need your pity, and whatever you're doing stop." Wooyoung interrupting him and scoffed, crossing his arms.

"I'm not doing this because I pity you. I'm doing it, because I just want to be you're friend.." San said, the other just looking at him dumbfounded.

"You want to be friends with me?" Wooyoung pointed at himself, the other nodded, and Wooyoung shook his head.

"You don't want to."

"I do!" San exclaimed while the other just stared at him.

"I'll only bring you misery if you become my friend.." Wooyoung looked away, the other just looked at him, "So please just don't bother with me anymore, and go ask someone else to be your friend."

"But-"

"I'm leaving.." Wooyoung interrupted, getting out the bed despite the protests of the other. Although he felt pain, all over his body, he wanted to get out of there, not wanting to disturb San anymore. He noticed he had on different clothes, a loose white t-shirt and some shorts that were a bit too small for him. San noticed, and spoke up, not letting the other ask.

"I-I changed you... since your clothes were dirty and kind of bloody..." San said a bit embarrassed, "And that's all I had, since you're bigger than me.... I also cleaned your wounds so they wouldn't get infected..." San trailed off the other looking at him annoyed.

"You didn't have to do all this," Wooyoung said annoyed, San looked down, flinching a bit at the tone, "But thanks.." Wooyoung muttered, San heard it and smiled to himself, "Where's my clothes so I can change into it"

"I'll go get them.." San said softly, walking past Wooyoung to the laundry room. Wooyoung sighed and waited for the other in the latter's room. He looked around the room, noticing it was nice and clean, "My room could never" Wooyoung muttered to himself, wrapping his arms around himself.

"Here you go.." San said coming back, handing him his clothes that were neatly folded.

"Thanks.. where's your bathroom?" Wooyoung asked, looking around.

"It's the door right there," San said, pointing at the door to the right of the bed. Wooyoung nodded and went to get changed. After a couple minutes, he got out and handed San back his clothes.

"Thank you for taking care of me, but I don't need of your care. I can take care of myself.." Wooyoung said, "And don't try to talk to me, like I said I don't want to ruin your life just by being my friend." San opened his mouth to reply, before Wooyoung sighed, "Please." Wooyoung looked at San with a plead in his eyes, before turning to walk out. San grabbed his arm before he went any further, Wooyoung's ears heating up slightly.

"I won't stop until you become my friend," San said determined. Woo didn't turn around to look at him, he just forced his arm out of San's grip, and left without another word.

"Mark my words Wooyoung." San said a smile forming on his lips.

The latter made his way around the other's house not knowing where the exit was, 'Damn I should've asked where the door was..' He walked a bit before he finally found it and left quickly, not wanting to be there anymore.

"Does this guy even know my name?" Wooyoung said to himself, remembering he never introduced himself, "He probably does, he said he watched me so maybe.." Wooyoung shuddered, 'I don't know if I can trust this guy..'

Wooyoung got home and went upstairs to his room, ignoring the yells of his mom who was mad at him for not coming home straight away. He locked his door and went to take a shower. He hadn't noticed earlier, when he changed as he was hurrying up to get out of San's house, but San and patched up all his wounds nice and carefully. Wooyoung smiled to himself, and removed them, his smile fading away seeing the bruised and scratches on his body. He shook San away from his mind and showered. He changed and put a fresh bandages on the wounds. He got himself comfortable in bed and tried going to sleep, tired from the past events from that day. He tossed and turned not being able to sleep, as much as he tried he couldn't get San away from his mind. Wooyoung looked up at his ceiling and sighed, 'Why can't I get him out of my head, I don't even know this guy... Do I.. like him?' Wooyoung's eyes widened at the thought and slapped himself a couple times.

"No. NO. No no no. I just met this guy what the heck." Wooyoung became flustered, blushing, thanking God that he was by himself. 'It's probably because I'm tired... yeah.. I need some sleep.." Wooyoung thought, turning to his side. He closed his eyes and sighed, although he didn't want to think about it, and denied it, deep down, he knew San had woken up something inside of him. That something he thought was long gone.
