Chapter 1

“Millie!” I barely heard before I was hit with a force to hard I nearly fell on my butt by my overly happy best friend Shay.

“Jesus Woman!” I said trying to contain my laughter as we got weird looks from other class mates

“what do you expect?! I haven’t seen you in ages!” she all but yelled

“dude, you saw me yesterday” I said laughing as we walked down the hall.

It was the first day back to school after a weeklong break and me and Shay had pretty much spent every day together doing whatever weird shit we could come up with.

“I know, but that was like, a whole 10 or something hours ago, therefore ages ago” Shay said, I rolled my eyes at her over exaggeration.

“Ok shay, what classes do you have?” I asked thinking it was best to change the subject while I could,

“I haaaaaave, study line, physics, home room, recess, math, English, lunch and history, what about you? Oh and I have amazing news!” she said while yelling the last bit.

“ahaha I have, study line, chem, home room, recess, math, English, lunch and history, which means we have most classes together” I said with a smile, “so what’s your ‘amazing news’?”

“well, you know how Mr. bramble got fired before break? Yeah, ok, good, well we have a knew Math teacher!” shay explained while grabbing my shoulders and shaking me

“yeah, ok… so?” I asked, shay’s jaw had pretty much unhinged itself and was lying on the floor when I finished speaking

“so?!?!? Apparently he’s a freaking sex god! He’s so hot!” she said fanning her face

“so, have you seen him?” I asked eyeing her

“well… no, I haven’t, but amber and Fern were talking about him when I walked in this morning!” she said but it sounded more like a complaint

“Shay, darling, what have I said about believing those nitwits? They are the two biggest liars ever!” I tried to stress the point. “Well, speak of the devil and they shall appear” I said as Amber and Fern walked past giggling and pointing at us like five year olds.

“RINGGGG”

“well, let’s get to class before we get detentions on the first day” I said and linked my arm with Shay’s and with that we skipped to our class.

I was walking to recess when I hit something that was hard yet surprisingly soft,

“shit! Sorry!” I apologized over and over again, while bending down and picking up my chem books

“it’s ok” a smooth yet husky voice that had me wanting to shiver, said, the person bent down and picked up my last book.

“thank you, and again I’m really sorry about walking into you, I shou-” my sentence was cut short when I finally got site of the stranger in front of me, he was absolutely stunning, I wasn’t even exaggerating. I probably looked like a retard with my mouth hanging open.

“It’s alright,” he said it his velvety voice. “And I didn’t catch your name”

“my names Millie” I said just as the bell rang, “I should probably get tot class” I finished while walking off in the direction of my math’s class.

As I reached my math class, I spotted Shay seated at the back with a pissed off look on her face, I hurried to see what was wrong. 

“What’s wrong, darling?” I asked as I sat in the seat next to her.
