CHAPTER SIX 「ろく」

往 | A New Journey Awaits

AS [Y/N] FINALLY MADE HER WAY OUT she couldn't help but sigh and take a small break behind a wall thats was blocking her from all the troubles around. Catching her breath, she slowly peeked out from behind the wall to see many pirates running away from the marines or getting into fights. 

"yosh.. seems like they're distracted enough, all I need to do is get to the ship before any more problems occur." 

I couldn't help but let out another sigh just thinking about the trouble that will come if I was caught. 

"hmm.. should I make a run for it, no I can wait a bit."

After making sure no one would come here I bent down and sat making sure to rest my legs before taking my escape. As I looked into my palms I made sure to see that the piece of vivre card was still there. 

After placing it into your pockets, you released a small sigh, "that's good, was gonna get worried if I had dropped it."

I couldn't help but release another sigh after realizing that the media will most likely release a news coverage probably stating, "Celestial Dragon's protector fled the scene at the auction house right after releasing a powerful attack." 

Chuckling a bit to ease the tension off, I couldn't help but think about how ridiculous the title would be if it were that long. Shaking my head I couldn't help but think.

"Oh [Y/N].. just what are we gonna do now. I wonder.. will she be upset about this. [scoff] who am I kidding of course she's gonna be upse- no not even upset she'll be furious damn it. You had one job, just one." 

After giving much thought to this I couldn't help but feel just a small spike of tears from the corner of my eyes. Before the tears could fall, I quickly placed two hands over my eyes chuckling a bit. 

"N-no, don't feel guilty its gonna be okay.. it'll be okay." I said to myself as I calmed down making sure to not release any tears. 

Letting go one more sigh, I took my hands off my eyes stood up and peeked back out to see if the trouble had died out.

"Hmm.. eh? what is that, is that.." 

After leaning a bit more on the wall too get a closer look, I notice the pirate with the straw hat and his friends that seems to be in some sort of fight with a.. is that a Pacifista? I only ever heard about them being the world government supposed use of weapon. 

After realizing that I had been close to them this entire time I couldn't help but look back to the right to see a path, perfect enough for me to hurry and make my escape as I notice a bunch of pirates still running around foolishly.

This is my chance now.. just run damn it! I couldn't help but grimaced at myself and let out a frustrated sigh. I want to help them.. I have a bad feeling that something worse is gonna come, but this isn't my fight. I already made enough problems for myself, [sigh]. 

"They'll be fine I'm sure of it." I thought as I gave the group who seems to be fight against The Pacifista pretty well one last look before quickly running out of my spot and avoiding the many pirates that were running around.

As I continued to make myself around people, I couldn't help but flinch when I heard a loud sound came startling from the left. 

Pausing my steps while everyone else made their way around me, some cursing me slightly under their breathes for I was in the way, I couldn't help but gasp as I took notice of the damage that had been down by the Straw Hat's pirates.
