Jerome's POV
I can not believe he escaped. How could the police let this happen? My job was to keep Janelle and her mum away from Jay. Him and i never actually got to know eachother. He never liked me anyways. Probably because i took Janelle away from him. Janelle's mum can stay here for however long she wants.
"Does he know you live here" mum asked
"Nope" Janelle said
That was a relief.
"Um whats tht officers name?" Janelle asked
"David Harris?" Mum said
"Yh him, do you have his number"
"Mmmhmm"
Janelle raised a eyebrow "have you been seeing him?"
"Yh" mum said smiling.
She dialled him in and put the phone on speaker.
"David"
"Yhh"
"How could jay escape?"
"Idek i didnt work today but im going in right now to sort this shit out"
"Good, i want 24 hour surveillance on my house Janelle and Jerome's house and all of us as individual. Got that?"
"Yep im sorting it out as we speak"
"Good thanks. We'll speak later"
"Where are you?"
"Janelle's house"
"I'll be there in the next 10-15 minutes"
"Orite kl bye"
"Bye"
I looked at Janelle. She didnt have an expression on her face. I've never seen her like this before. She must be scared coz i know i am. Definitely.
