Samantha's POV
I can understand why Jayden switched on me like that but it still hurt. I was just going to give him his space. His sister did just try to commit suicide.

Jayden's POV
I woke up and got ready. I picked up my phone my Oyster card some money and i left. I routed to the hospital. When i got there i bought some flowers for her. I went to her ward and asked to see her.
"Can i see Jaydene Richardson Riley please?"
"Its not visiting hours"
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "Shes my sister"
"Whats your name"
"Jayden Richardson Riley"
"Orite, first room on the right"
I walked to the room and opened the door. Mum and dad were both standing at her side. I looked at Jaydene. She looked lifeless. Tears started to fill my eyes. I put the flowers on the table. I sat down and looked at her.
I cleared my throat "has she been awake since yesterday"
"Yh"
"Did she say anything"
"She didnt want to talk about it" mum said
"Do you know why?" Dad asked
"I didnt but i found out"
"What happened?" Mum asked looking up.
"Tyreece cheated on her several times. He kissed her best friend. Started calling her ugly and other people joined in"
Mum started crying
"I think its been going on for like a month now. I guess she couldn't take it. Coz only the other day she told me he cheated. She said she was fine coz she locked it with him and i believe her" i said moving my eyes from mum to Jaydene "i guess this is why shes always locked up in her room"
She started to move about. Her eyes opened.
"Ugh" she groaned quietly. She don't sound happy to be here
"You okay Jay?" Dad asked
She turned over and didnt say anything
"Um can you give us a minute"

Jaydene's POV
Why am i still alive? I don't want to be here anymore. I am hurting and no matter how much i cut now, it wont make a difference. The fact tht tyreece cheated isnt why i done it. Its because i loved him and he made me believe that he loved me aswell. He made me feel special. No other boy can, apart from jayden, he always understands me. The fact that when i walk through school i know people are looking at me and calling me names hurt aswell. I would never do that to someone coz ik wht it feels like and there is no reason to. I couldn't be asked to be here anymore or to deal with the situation. Im in year 9 and this has been going on since year 8 when i started dealing tyreece. Everytime he cheated, we broke up but he always convinced me that hes changed. And like and idiot , i believed him.
Mum and dad walked out of the room leaving me with Jayden.
He came over to me and moved my hair out of my face.
"Who did this to you, the Jaydene i know wouldn't do this"
I smiled weakly as tears rolled down both our faces. I tried to sit up, i feel so weak. Jayden helped me up in the bed.
I wiped the tears from my eyes but they just keep coming.
"How long has this been going on"
"Um a year" i said quietly
"Why didnt you tell me?" He sounded hurt
"I didnt want to speak about it to anyone. I just keep myself to myself"
"Jaydene can you keep this promise"
"Don't talk to tyreece again. Please"
"I promise"
"Thank you" he said giving me a hug. I smiled. "Jaydene you're too beautiful for this. You're my baby sister"
"Im sorry i told Samantha, i just wanted you to enjoy prom and not worry about me"
"Ahh im not talking to her atm"
"Why"
"She didnt tell me"
"I made her swear on your life its not her fault its mine. I made her keep a promise"
"Yh but your life is more important than mine"
I burst into tears. "Jayden i love you"
"I love you too"
"When im done with Tyreece, he wont even think about looking at you" he said clenching his fist
"Jay what you gonna do"
"Nothing harmful"
"Just going to speak to him"
"Okay"
"Do you feel ready to come home?"
"Maybe later today"
"Okay and Jaydene..."
"Yh"
"im your brother, you can talk to me about anything, ask me for anything, ive got your back"
"I love you" i smiled
"I love you too"
"Oh and thanks for the flowers"
He smiled and winked at me before walking out.
